That’s the idea with Hill.

He can play day 1 in the slot, and he could also be your future starter at S. He’s a chess piece either way.

But I think Thornhill has a great contract year.

I like Logan Hall and Travis Jones as well. Travis Jones reminds me of a poor mans Aaron Donald.

I'm not saying he's going to be a Donald.

He can cover TE’s too. Some Patriots guys were evaluating him and said he compares to a better version of Devin McCourty.

That’s a good comp IMO

I like the S from Bama.

Travis Jones and Aaron Donald aren't even remotely close in any facet.

I think he'd be a good 3rd safety this year and a Thornhill replacement in 2023.

I know he's bigger and slower and Donald was a freak, but i really like travis jones. I'd rather take jones and hall in the late 2nd or early third than take Wyatt in the first.

Yea, he’s the only other safety I would really consider in the 1st.

If you want the Chiefs to draft defense, this is your best scenario. I want defense 4 of the 6 picks in 1st-3rd rounds.

To get to 10, it's going to take this year's 29 or 30, next year's 1st rounder, and a bit more...

I'm just trying to come up with someone to trade to move up vs. giving up too much draft capital?

I agree with you on both points. Hill can play both S and CB this year and let's see what happens with Thornhill. I don't think Spags has given up on him, but he isn't as savvy as Mathieu was. We're pretty well set at 1 S with Reid, but we only signed Bush on a 1 year. Key is a JAG.

As far as the Ojabo/Mafe debate, go with the guy that can start Day 1 over a guy you probably won't see until mid-season.

Kiimo 04-14-2022 11:16 PM

Ojabo I have posted a lot about but have watched zero film. A lot of my Michigan friends don't believe in him and that worries me
