I mean, he did take his ball and go home when the massive cap charges he'd accumulated from his shitty roster building philosophy came to roost.

Gee...imagine what they could put in almost 5000 retails outlets nation wide? Wanna go global? Sean Payton could have his own line of coachwear. The options are almost endless. If Payton and Walton's want to work together, the Saints aren't going to stop it.

If Payton chooses Denver it's just a $$$$ grab.

Bad situation to have a washed QB with that contract.

It's not that and I listened all y'all's "uppity" asses for 44 years of my life. One change and we doubled our output. Sampler size is small, but you can see the difference with an adult in the room.

If the Broncos were smart you'd go after Steichen.

He's the Daboll of this coaching cycle.

The Saints can stop it if they want they control him for 2 more years. His contract goes through the 2024 season.

Then they would get nothing.

If I was the Chargers I would be seeing what it would take to get Sean Paton under a contract and dump their dipshit head coach. Hell I can see Dallas bowing out in first round and Jerry doing all he can do to get Payton. I don't think Sean would want to head to head twice a year With Andy and Patrick no matter how desirable that Chargers job would be.

With a top 5 all time QB in his prime.

True and they also have to continue to pay his salary until he gets a new job. I still think they will get a first rounder since he seems desperate to get back to coaching

Jerry jumping in and going after Payton wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Where did you get that idea from? He has to work to get the money and he has to work for years to toll off his contract.

That's like thinking the Broncos are gonna get him for a mere sack of dicks from Russell Wilson's farm of dicks.

Not sure I am following you. He has a contract with the Saints for 2 more years that they have to pay him. My understanding when it comes to these contracts once they get a job the former team doesn't have to pay them.

He could also not coach for the next 2 seasons then go to any team wants with no compensation attached. Doesn't seem like he wants to do that though
