Playoff Mahomes is focused and takes it up a notch, and this is the first time he’s had a defense that can hold a good offense under 20 points. It’s not hopeless.

They could absolutely be a tough out in the play out in the playoffs but this game shows they just do not have the juice next year.

Which is a shame because with how good the defense is this year and how the AFC as a whole seems pretty week it should be another good run for us.

The worst part of all of this is that ****ing loser 48ers stopping back in after going AWOL for the last 2 years.

Id be VERY surprised if they get back to the Super Bowl. Not surprised if they get bounced round 1. They've shown us who they are THIS season, and I believe them. They're not going to be able to stop making mistakes. Its who they are. This team is different this year and it has been since week 1. The ending will be different also.
Again, it does not take anything away from past accomplishmemts.

No doubt.

I imagine the status quo was getting old for you.

Raiders haven't had a defense in 20 years. They have a decent D now and the Cheaps are not very good as opposed to the last few years. I had a feeling we would win this game to get AP the job.

Beating KC is the same it's always been. You have to aggravate 15 and rush him while minimizing the scramble. Thing is that very few teams can do that but we did.

Messes up our draft pick more but I think we want to keep AP more. He can get players to play unlike other coaches we have had

Thanks and Merry Christmas

As if we needed the Scho's secret Chiefs decoder ring to tell us the Chiefs have fallen off after dropping winnable games this season and losing to a bad Chiefs team at home.

Thanks for the insight.

Several people don't know the difference between optimism and opinion, so after weeks of people being miserable with strong opinions of how the season is over after a week 1 loss, they feel like those who were optimistic all season or even simply not being miserable enough were "wrong" for enjoying the season and being optimistic that the season isn't totally lost after every breeze of adversity.

So, we get threads like this (twice in 3 weeks now) telling people how to feel and how we need to "turn the page" (what do I do with my hands?)... gatekeeping, as Tex said.... or as Tex has done, gloating in threads like he's the smart one because for the first time since Mahomes has been a starter, the sun has shined on that miserable ass and dude's pretty damn giddy about it.

Imagine how it must feel to be a miserable **** every season, and goddammit, the Chiefs might actually not be good enough this year... must feel awesome to finally be validated.

Losing to the Lions and Eagles, despite being at home, is understandable. They're both quality rosters and had the "juice" but for differing reasons.

Blowing the streak against the Donks sucks for the sake of the rivalry but whatever.

Today's loss and the Bills loss is inexcusable.

Yea that is how the hierarchy of these losses shakes out.
