The win against the Fishies was one of our more complete games of the season. The entire team was playing well. Had some Red Zone issues again, gotta score a TD when it's 1st and Goal from the 2 but nonetheless, we looked better.

The wind certainly hurt some of the deep passing but Hardman appeared to be getting open downfield which we haven't had all season. In better weather I think the pass from Patrick to him is there.

Defense looked about as tough as they have all season as well. George with a multi-sack game looking good. LB's were flying around and our Secondary continues to stonewall.

I hadn’t worn my “lucky shirt” in over a month. Put it on last night, will be wearing it the rest of the postseason. Especially next week when I’m going to a Bills bar to watch us send them home.

Some people been saying this for a while now.

HOF HC, QB, and best defense left in the playoffs.

That combo has a pretty good history of winning SB's...

Agreed but against the Bills or Ravens we cannot go 2-6 in the Red Zone. That's the only real knock on the offense from the game.

Or, you could say the Bills can't turn the ball over 2 times vs Pat Mahomes and his defense. The Bills can't get turnovers and not score TD's like they did vs. a putrid Miami defense.

Are the Bills playing like a team that's ready to knock off the defending SB champs?

Are the Ravens ready to show up in the playoffs instead of choking away another great opportunity like they always do? Is Lamar ever going to grow up and play big-boy football in the playoffs? Can he win playoff games with his arm?

The Ravens right now look to be the most complete team. Buffalo is playing some scrappy football at the the right time.

Can either cross the finish line? Who knows. I don't think going 2-6 in the RZ though is a recipe for success against those teams. We need to make that more like 4-6 get over 30+.

Conflicted. They don't look like a Superbowl winning team but I know they are a team who could win the SB just seems like two different things.

They don't really pass the smell test of that team that can win it all they do too many dumb things and don't capitalize offensively but at the end of the day all you have to do is beat other team it does not have to look good and they seem very capable of beating any team who lines up across from them. Just finding a way by having an elite defense and doing enough on offense.

Key will be limiting turnovers.

It's funny how that's the feeling in today's NFL, because every year the best defenses in the league get the tag "elite" when they're really just very good against non-SB contenders and garbage quarterbacks, but routinely get clowned by the best offenses... see: Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles.

It's pretty much an afterthought to have an elite defense, because who doesn't give up 30+ against the best offenses in the league.

Yet, this defense IS the way.

Exactly.... I think the Bills got to the red zone 4 times against Miami and two of those resulted in turnovers. They have their own shit to clean up.

NJChiefsFan 01-14-2024 07:54 AM

If we don't turn the ball over, are successful in red zone, and are locked in mentally we are going to be a very difficult team for someone to knock out.

IN ARROWHEAD.

Stroud and Collins are a much better combo than Allen and Diggs the second half of the season. I’m definitely conflicted who I want but ultimately the Bills getting knocked out this week is probably for the best.

That Miami defense was missing most of the guys it was missing yesterday, last week as well. Van Ginkel got knocked out early. Goode got knocked out on the kickoff return TD, and it’s debatable if he’s actually any better than street FA guys they added.

The Bills threw the ball better than KC did, in pristine Miami conditions, though. They also found ways to turn it over 3 times against that D and had to rely entirely on Allen in the running game.

The Bills are on a win streak, but haven’t exactly been playing great or perfect during that streak, either.

I’m confident against the Bills in Orchard Park. I’m also not confident the game even gets played (and not because of weather in Buffalo next Saturday).

KC played much better but not perfect yesterday. They have a better level than that available.

Outside of Hardman tracking the ball like Stevie Wonder this was one of the smartest games we've played this season

Even when we made mistakes, like the low snap, Mahomes didn't try to force it and lived to play another down

Felt there was a nice balance in play calling given both the conditions and trying to exploit Miami's injuries

And the defense balled the **** out

Feels good this morning

I think the Steelers and Rudolph go the route of Flacco and the Browns and suddenly don't look that great on the road in the playoffs, but also don't want to underestimate how the Bills have the knack for doing whatever is needed to keep other teams in games.

It would be ****ing hilarious if the Steelers managed to win that game, but glorious beyond words if the Chiefs ended their season again.
