I guarantee if Aikman played today he would have insane stats. In a league where you can't hit quarterbacks or touch receivers anymore?

Sheeeeiit. He'd be in the Pro Bowl every ****ing year.

Probably no one in NFL history was better at standing in the pocket and delivering an on-time laser while taking a ****ing massive blow than Troy ****ing Aikman.

YES I HAD HIS POSTER ON MY WALL SHINE A BLACKLIGHT ON IT IF YOU MUST

OK, let's say everything you bring up is true... Troy is still a jealous ****ing closeted bitch...

It’s time for the networks to get these announcers under control.

Jawaan Taylor’s career has basically been ruined because of them, and now they’re even going after the face of the goddamn league with their nonsense. We don’t need any goddamn fuel added to this bullshit fire of lunatics.

I hate this league so much. If it was a coastal team doing what we are, the ball gargling and ass kissing would be at levels I’m not sure we could even handle. Imagine if it was Josh Allen and the Bills on this run. They would literally be changing the name of the NFL to the Joshy Football League.

It makes me want to vomit.

ask Trevor Lawrence how he feels about the Texans Defense.

Aikman and Buck need to face punishment. They've created a shitstorm that makes the NFL look bad. At the very least, Aikman needs to be banned from Chiefs games. Give him the Kevin Keitzman treatment. Also, If the refs have received any harassment, threats, etc., because of what was said on the broadcast, they should sue Aikman/Buck and ESPN.

And Aikman is obviously scared. Mr. "Talk to Me when Mahomes has 1/4 of my Super Bowl rings" is worried that Mahomes is going to have the same number after this year. ****ing clown.

Aikman only has 3.

Mahomes has already matched him.

This is some guy barking in Pats rearview.

Read Pearlman's book on the 90s Cowboys and you'll see that Aikman is such a stupid hayseed fraud that he's really not worth your scorn.

The guys dumb as a ****ing hammer and he's been a coddled, petulant, entitled baby his entire career. Him whining about Mahomes shouldn't bother you any more than any other hack doing it should.

Just shrug this guy off. He's not worth the angst.

Wait until Nantz and Romo cry. Nantz will be practically screaming that we can't keep getting away with it.

Mute their stupid asses.

The best argument against the 'the game is better at home' crowd.

You know how much stupid shit I had to hear from Aikman? Not a bit of it.

Gimme Arrowhead over Buck every time...

So yeah, maybe if they stopped trying to take cheap shots they wouldn't get these flags.

NFL Network had their rules analyst on this morning and he said both penalties were correctly called based on the letter of the law.

He also said that officials are instructed to err on the side of caution and as such, even had those been subject to replay review, they'd have stood as called.

He told Mariucci that if they want to change the rules that's a different discussion but as the rules are written and with the emphasis on protecting QBs, those were BOTH correct calls and when shown from the officials angle and in slow motion, both are easily supported.

Kiimo 01-19-2025 10:42 AM

Just watched that too

The best part is that Aikman’s last season was full of concussions that likely shortened his career.

He, of all people, should understand how bad shortened QB careers are for the League.

Does it make you surprised that 99% of the NFL world (basically non Chiefs fans) are praising Aikman for being a petulant whining bitch on the broadcast yesterday?
