We see what 2-14 has done to the fan base. Everybody, make nice, and be glad that Herm and Co. aren't coaching the seniors.

My wife has no sense of humor either. I mean, what's not funny about using power tools to wake my son up in the morning and chasing the dog through the house with the leaf blower?

From watching last night's game some things I noticed:

1. OSU and Texas are WAY Overrated.

2. Jim "Mr. Rogers" Tressel can't coach, but last night it didn't matter cuz Mac Brown can't either.

3. Pryor is not a QB. He's a very gifted athlete who would be an awesome WR/flanker. He can even line up in wilcat formation occasionally, but will never be an accurate passer.

4. Colt McCoy is not an NFL prospect, but he may win the Heisman next year.

5. Orakpo is not a top 10 prospect.

I disagree with you on this, he is already a more accurate passer than Vince Young was as a junior. Too be honest with you, our offensive line is terrible, it's hard to work on mechanics when you can't protect somebody, or have to roll him out everytime. He has been accurate all year, now he isn't Sam Bradford accurate, but our line can't touch Oklahoma's line either. People forget a big part of the reason Boeckman lost his job is because we couldn't protect him, he would be like Carson Palmer playing for the Chiefs. Boeckman was a statue back there, Pryor can make plays, yes he is un-polised, but saying he can't or shouldn't play QB is silly.

I agree based on what I saw last night. I didn't watch him all season, but that's because I don't watch D2 college football.

Wow. Before last night, I thought being a grumpy old man was just Skip's schtick. I'm beginning to think he really is an arrogant, judgemental asshole. Some things are just uncalled for.

But you watch the semi-pro Broncos, interesting. Pryor is a red shirt freshman, he will be fine.

The line looked decent last night. Better than at other times this season. Pryor has a lot to learn in regards to the passing game. He's only a true freshman, give him time. Boeckman lost his job because when our make shift line did allow pressure, he'd either get sacked and fumble, or throw an interception (Maulauga). According to Rivals/Scout, we do have talent on the O-Line, but they always seen to under perform. Perhaps it is poor coaching.

I sad pretty much everything you just said in the other thread about the Bucks. Our offensive line is not good, it may look good on paper, but they have been very mediocre all year. Brewster is only a RSF, I think he is the next Nick Mangold. Bryant Browning is not good, and I can't wait to see him go, he can take his 5 false starts a game with him. Boone has under performed all year, everyone expect a lot out of him but he didn't deliver IMO. Rehring has battled injuries all year, he is huge but doesn't really play with an attitude like you would want. Jim Cordle is fundamental, but get's over powered against the better and bigger DT's.

Brewer (#1 Center in 2008), Shugarts (#7 OT in 2008) , Adams (#2 OT in 2008), Smith (#4 OL in 2006), Hall (#2 OT in 2009. Hasn't signed yet. Are favorite), Linsley (#10 OG in 2009), Mewhort (#13 OT in 2009) and finally, Michigan transfer Boren (#7 OL in 2006). They have a pretty solid line, on paper that is. I think it is a coaching issue.

I know all of our recruits, I'm talking about our starting line right now, I think you mean Brewster not Brewer, right? Brewster,Shugarts, and Adams made us the #1 recruit class, along with Pryor of course, last year.

ROFL. Yes, I need to go through my posts before submitting. I think our future looks bright along the line, we just need to make sure they get proper coaching.
