I guess it's one way to see some good returns... 10 touchbacks, followed by a returner taking it out from 8 yards in the endzone & surprising the return team that's half-assing their way down the field.

cdcox 09-08-2011 08:43 PM

Glad to see they aren't delaying the game over calls that are close, but no cigar.

SPchief 09-08-2011 08:43 PM

Somebody is gonna put up 50 tonight

Rain Man 09-08-2011 08:44 PM

The NFL record in a game is 113 points. Right now, we're on pace for 98 points.

rocknrolla 09-08-2011 08:44 PM

F*** Brees is on fire! What a shootout.

Hammock Parties 09-08-2011 08:44 PM

600 total yards, not counting 140 yards in kick returns

cdcox 09-08-2011 08:45 PM

Setsuna 09-08-2011 08:47 PM

Off topic, but when I was a kid my cousin got hold of some old spice and told me it had alcohol in it. He was drinking it, and I took a taste, but it tasted bad so I stopped.

Marcellus 09-08-2011 08:48 PM

Seriously though, it might not be like the old days, but there's good defense in the NFL.... it's just not what the NFL wants on opening night.

2010 -- 14-9 NO over MN
2009 -- 13-10 Pitt over TN in OT
2008 -- 16-7 NYG over Washington

The casual fan doesn't enjoy scores like that.
