There are some ****ing butthurt Barkley lovers on here.
Blaming everything on the best WR's in the country is so ****ing funny. |

Kiffin has gone full reerun this year. USC was #1 overall by many publications to start the year and they've completely sucked, despite having an enormous amount of NFL talent. Monte has them playing Cover 2 and read and react defense, which is negating the speed and athleticism of their players. They should be attacking and instead, their waiting around with their thumbs up their asses. No one knows what the **** Lane is doing each week. For a team that went Toe-To-Toe with Andrew Luck and Stanford last year (among others), they've completely fallen apart offensively, despite the transfer from Penn State of Silas Redd. They're a cluster****. My guess is that Barkley has a great combine and a great Pro Day. There is plenty great game film available on him, so he'll be a Top Five QB. |

We're using this game as evidence against Barkley thus far? OK...

Some good teams littered throughout with 2/3 losses like Stanford, USC Some good teams littered throughout with 2/3 losses like Oklahoma, KState Some mediocre teams with 4-5 losses like Washington, and teams I can't remember Some mediocre teams with 4-5 losses like Mizzou, aTm Some downright shitty teams. Some downright shitty teams. The conferences were equal, buttface. |

They have the Big XII as the best conference (as for 11/10/2012) and the SEC as the 2nd best conference, and the PAC 12 as 3rd. http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbc12.htm |

Barkley just allowed another TD.

Here's a guy that's never coached or recruited in college, that took a poor to mediocre team and has turned them into Pac 12 championship contenders with 2 losses on the season. His recruiting was bad ass as well. He'll be the toast of Los Angeles if this continues and I'm guessing he'll be back in the NFL within three years, if not sooner. BTW, my wife is a UCLA grad (as are a ton of friends) and I assured all of them that Mora would destroy Kiffin. :D |

I think Geno and Barkley are lock top 5 picks and Wilson top 10, probably higher. It just makes sense to over-pay if you have to. As mentioned a little earlier, the list of teams looking at QBs is pretty large. |
Whats barkleys TD:INT for the game today?

I just think the whole thing of selecting another USC QB is a red flag to me, because while that school has produced very good college players, when was the last USC QB that was able to translate their skills in the NFL? I don't think Palmer would fit in that category. Leinhart? Haha... Sanchez? No. At least, it is to me, a concern. |

Barkley loves football and loved USC so much that he spurned the NFL, where he would have been a Top 3 pick, to return for his fourth season. I'm not predicting that Barkley will be a superstar QB but the love of football and character issues will not prevent him from doing so. |

Anyways, I think the biggest question at this point, outside of Barkley and Geno Smith as well as the NFL Draft, is... 1. Does the Chiefs GM finally get axed? If so, who will be replacing him? What would the new GM's philosophy will be this time? 2. If the GM does NOT get axed, will he fire the HC? Who would be the replacement HC? Within? From some stupid tree? Or an outsider? There are way too many if's, and, or buts to figure out which QB the Chiefs (if they ever do...) will select. |

I just see the fight and desire in Barkley's eyes. He doesn't give up and wants to win/lead. He will be one of the better NFL QBs. Bank on it.

Please keep in mind my record of predicting Cassel FAIL right from the get-go. And by get-go, and I mean the day it was announced that he had been traded to us. |
Okay USC has made a game out of it now...
And he missed the extra point... could be significant... |

I used to see Leinart out in Hollywood, all the ****ing time. I ran into him with Paris Hilton too many times to count. Sanchez has been bangin' his way through New York and most recently, with my beautiful neighbor friend that's 12 years older than him. It's clear that neither one of those guys want to be Drew Brees, Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers. I think they're both lucky to have jobs. |

Oh well. |

what kind of head does Geno Smith have on him? Two parent household? Good student? Just curious. I don't follow college football very much.

Great throw by Barkley.

There we go with the stupid ass quick pass

Alex Smith was taken #1 overall. From there, Aaron Rodgers and Jason Campbell weren't taken until the 20's. Would a team have fallen in love with Leinart after only two seasons of starting? Hard to say. But if he fell behind Vince Young a year later, I'm guessing he would have dropped pretty far in 2005 had he come out. Plus, he's a lefty, which opens up its own can of worms. Tough call. Also, Leinart didn't love football. He loved the ladies. Big difference between him and Barkley. |
Barkley is getting away with some poor decisions and throws.
|
Quote:
And USC is imploding with unneccessary and dumb penalties. Wow. |
Quote:
He's a goner. I'll be really curious to see who Pat Haden hires next. |
you know, Barkley would be ok for me...yeah I hate every other USC QB in the league right now, but whatever.
Anything is better than Cassel...I don't even care if we draft a bust as long as we just freaking draft a QB. Hell, I wouldn't even be mad if we drafted Clausen over Berry since they both suck anyways... For god's sake I'd take Tannehill and he sucks too. I'd take the QB on my high school alma matter team over Cassel. I'd watch Stanzi go 0-19 with 8 picks and enjoy that game more than any Cassel game. |

There's the hanging ball people were talking about
|
Come again?
|
lets put it this way...
Barkley could be the reincarnation of Chad Pennington and I'd still be thrilled we drafted a GD QB in the 1st round for once. |

Barkley making a play with his feet.
|
WTF was that?
|
Awful int by Barkley right there.
|
Quote:
All he was saying was, even if the QB busts, at least we freaking drafted a QB... Barkley, Geno? Who gives a shit. Just my opinion pal! |
Yep. We want that shit in KC. We already have that in Cassel. Horrible throw.
|
the TE had to have run the wrong route, but that throw was TERRIBLE. the passes before that however, were really good throws.
|
man that was another TERRIBLE throw.
|
Nice play by Barkley
|
I think the pro style offense is just an outdated college offense...
Lets put it this way...if you're running a pro style offense in college football you better have a damn good defense. |
and followed up by a really really good play...
|
WHAT A PLAY BY BARKLEY
|
It's a ball game
|
man i'd love to have this guy, I think he will really grow nicely into our offense. I can live with the bad throws after a couple of good plays.
|
Well done,Cas, I mean Bark.
|
man these WRs for USC are good. are any of them coming out and projected for 2nd round in case we can't get D-Bowe signed long term?
|

Typical Chiefs fan change of heart! Keep up the good work, man! That made me laugh. |

Injured throwing shoulder.
|
Looks like a collarbone.
|
Max Wittek, USC backup....
Get used to that name, Chiefs fans. LMAO |
ROFL USC ****ing sucks
|
He deserves getting his field goal blocked for writing on his arm.
|
Matt Barkley has a separated shoulder.
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-...34--ncaaf.html http://l1.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/Cb...arkley-001.jpg Wonder how this will affect his draft stock? |
I don't think it will. IS he done for the year?
