It just (I am being totally honest about this) so far with my experiences of watching Barkley, it really haven't "impressed" me too much.

Barkley would have been the third QB off the board this year, if not the second, if he had come out.

Kiffin has gone full reerun this year. USC was #1 overall by many publications to start the year and they've completely sucked, despite having an enormous amount of NFL talent.

Monte has them playing Cover 2 and read and react defense, which is negating the speed and athleticism of their players. They should be attacking and instead, their waiting around with their thumbs up their asses.

No one knows what the **** Lane is doing each week. For a team that went Toe-To-Toe with Andrew Luck and Stanford last year (among others), they've completely fallen apart offensively, despite the transfer from Penn State of Silas Redd.

They're a cluster****.

My guess is that Barkley has a great combine and a great Pro Day. There is plenty great game film available on him, so he'll be a Top Five QB.

Pac 12 had Oregon. Big 12 had Ok State
Some good teams littered throughout with 2/3 losses like Stanford, USC
Some good teams littered throughout with 2/3 losses like Oklahoma, KState
Some mediocre teams with 4-5 losses like Washington, and teams I can't remember
Some mediocre teams with 4-5 losses like Mizzou, aTm
Some downright shitty teams.
Some downright shitty teams.

The conferences were equal, buttface.

Okay, how about Jeff Sagarin NCAA football ratings then? It's one of the computer models that is used towards the BCS rankings.

They have the Big XII as the best conference (as for 11/10/2012) and the SEC as the 2nd best conference, and the PAC 12 as 3rd.

I don't know what happened in Seattle but Jim Mora, jr. is a ****ing badass.

Here's a guy that's never coached or recruited in college, that took a poor to mediocre team and has turned them into Pac 12 championship contenders with 2 losses on the season. His recruiting was bad ass as well.

He'll be the toast of Los Angeles if this continues and I'm guessing he'll be back in the NFL within three years, if not sooner.

BTW, my wife is a UCLA grad (as are a ton of friends) and I assured all of them that Mora would destroy Kiffin.

Even if he has a so so one, I would be shocked if he made it out of the top 5. It just is a different era. Need a great QB and they don't cost a lot in the draft. Show anything at all and teams will be looking at you.

I think Geno and Barkley are lock top 5 picks and Wilson top 10, probably higher. It just makes sense to over-pay if you have to. As mentioned a little earlier, the list of teams looking at QBs is pretty large.

Like I said, I don't know too much about USC, but there is one thing that I DO KNOW for sure that USC players are playing the read and react defense/Cover 2, and you are absolutey correct on that they have to be a attacking defense.

I just think the whole thing of selecting another USC QB is a red flag to me, because while that school has produced very good college players, when was the last USC QB that was able to translate their skills in the NFL? I don't think Palmer would fit in that category. Leinhart? Haha... Sanchez? No.

At least, it is to me, a concern.

Leinart and Sanchez didn't and don't love football.

Barkley loves football and loved USC so much that he spurned the NFL, where he would have been a Top 3 pick, to return for his fourth season.

I'm not predicting that Barkley will be a superstar QB but the love of football and character issues will not prevent him from doing so.

Oh I'm not predicting that Barkley will be a superstar QB either, but one can also make an argument that Collin Klein would also have the same tangibles that the love of fotball and that he has no character issues as well.

Anyways, I think the biggest question at this point, outside of Barkley and Geno Smith as well as the NFL Draft, is...

1. Does the Chiefs GM finally get axed? If so, who will be replacing him? What would the new GM's philosophy will be this time?

2. If the GM does NOT get axed, will he fire the HC? Who would be the replacement HC? Within? From some stupid tree? Or an outsider?

There are way too many if's, and, or buts to figure out which QB the Chiefs (if they ever do...) will select.

I don't know what you're trying to say here, Dude.

I used to see Leinart out in Hollywood, all the ****ing time. I ran into him with Paris Hilton too many times to count.

Sanchez has been bangin' his way through New York and most recently, with my beautiful neighbor friend that's 12 years older than him.

It's clear that neither one of those guys want to be Drew Brees, Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers.

I think they're both lucky to have jobs.

Would a team have fallen in love with Leinart after only two seasons of starting? Hard to say. But if he fell behind Vince Young a year later, I'm guessing he would have dropped pretty far in 2005 had he come out. Plus, he's a lefty, which opens up its own can of worms. Tough call.

Anything is better than Cassel...I don't even care if we draft a bust as long as we just freaking draft a QB. Hell, I wouldn't even be mad if we drafted Clausen over Berry since they both suck anyways...

For god's sake I'd take Tannehill and he sucks too.

I'd take the QB on my high school alma matter team over Cassel. I'd watch Stanzi go 0-19 with 8 picks and enjoy that game more than any Cassel game.
