I'd go after Gamble but I don't know how much he's asking for.
|
problem with Dunta is he's slow as quicksand ever since he ripped his hamstring off the bone, has never been the same player
and he's had 2 concussions in 4 years. That is AWFUL no matter how you spin it. |
Well I like his hitting we need a guy that will lay a mother****er out and add vet leadership and toughness to the secondary

Am I the only one that finds it odd that these guys made it to their positions by drafting franchise quarterbacks in the first round, drafting mid to late round qbs and trading them for picks, dumping players once they get to be 31 or so and being smart with free agency dollars....then, they get to KC and go against everything that worked for them in the past.
Traded way too much for a 29 year old game manager. Signed a 30 year old corner that has shown obvious signs of declining ability Signed a 29 year old receiver to a 5 year 56 million dollar contract Signed a 31 year old punter to a deal worth over 3/yr I'm hoping the moves work out... |

Bowe is our best option had to keep Colquitt is awesome and can pin deep what we need with smith Dunta brings leadership and hard hitting plus hell likely be nickel back or FS |
The thin I love is they're going for it. We have a window with Hali Charles DJ Bowe Flowers Albert etc

There is no way Clark Hunt could sell a other 2-14 or 4-12 season on this fan base. |
If those contracts are backloaded for when the TV money gets done and McCracken and Dorsey can get away from them isn't bad, it looks like there is a built in safety net to what they're doing. Well know when the contract details all come out.
|
I'm perfectly fine with Dunta Robinson being the only FA signing at CB as long as we draft a CB.
I think everybody here would be completely fine with Dunta Robinson if we drafted a Brandon Boykin or Casey Hayward to push him and take over if he starts sucking. |
Bowe
3/4/2013: Signed a five-year, $56 million contract. The deal contains $26 million guaranteed -- a $15 million signing bonus, Bowe's 2013 and 2014 base salaries, and $1.75 million of his 2015 salary. Bowe is eligible for annual $250,000 workout bonuses throughout the contract's life. 2013: $750,000, 2014: $8.75 million, 2015: $10.75 million, 2016-2017: $9.75 million, 2018: Free Agent Colquitt [x] 3/4/2013: Signed a five-year, $18.75 million contract. The deal contains $8.9 million guaranteed. 2013: $950,000, 2014-15: $2.95 million, 2016: $3.6 million, 2017: $4.05 million, 2018: Free Agent |

We have good nucleus of D players. We have a good coaching staff. Im more optimistic with this team than the DV era

We've got like 2 years left before DJ and Tamba start to decline. I'm all for bringing in all these FA's as long as we draft good players. And by good players, I mean Flowers, Bowe and Hali type players. Not Jackson, Dorsey and Arenas type of slapdicks. |

I'm starting to think that the player that will make the single greatest year one improvement to this team will be the guy they go after at 1.1. Not the best prospect or the one with the best upside, but the best year one player.

DE CB |
CB would actually make the most sense from that perspective, although a case could be made for Cordarrelle Patterson. I wish that I actually liked some of the pass rushers slated to go high, but Dion Jordan just looks like a bust in waiting, and although I really like Moore, he's had a bad offseason and is probably now a late first.

Patterson would be a good fit but he's dumb as ****.

It'd be asking a lot of Patterson to have him come in and contribute.
Milliner would be an easy plug and play. |

Something is very wrong with a 49ers fan that chooses to spew his reeruned thoughts on a Chiefs message board and takes the time to include a signature to his posts that has poor punctuation and capitalization.
It's like a guy that doesn't brush his teeth or hair and doesn't tie his shoes trying to start a conversation with you. Smile and nod. |

The Kansas City Star suggests the Chiefs might use Dunta Robinson at safety.
Robinson lacks ideal size -- he's listed at 5-foot-10, 183 -- but that's not*too small*for a free safety. In 2012, Pro Football Focus graded Robinson as the NFL's No. 4 run-support corner, behind only Antoine Winfield, Chris Harris, and Jason McCourty. The Chiefs could use Robinson on a Ronde Barber-like role, playing free safety on early downs and covering the slot in the nickel. |
So just popping in, any new news?
|
They NEED to do that and draft a corner. The guy isn't a corner.
If they think the guy is a starting corner, that is a pretty sizeable red flag. |

Draft us the next Tramon Williams or Sam Shields...please.

Really hope we can recoup that 2nd rounder

Tramon Williams, YES, sam shields. NOOOOOOOO. |
If the rams called desperate for one if the LTs I'd jump for teir two first rounders and a second.

None of this shit matters.
Without a quarterback, this is all "just going through the motions" |

I could see them moving up, but not until two of the top three guys are off the board. Why would they? There is a good chance one of them makes it to 16. |
When they give Alex a big contract I'll be worried

In a perfect scenario we could trade to 9 with jets for revis and their 2nd, then go from there down for the rams firsts |
