I don't take much stock on the coaches poll. They don't have time to worry about some team that they never play and grade them. They have plenty of other things to worry about (like their team, their assistant coaches, recruiting, etc) than some school that is 900+ miles away from them.

The way the team has played, it's understandable. My guess is KSU's early play completely dropped them off the coaches' radars, and some of what they have done since has gone unnoticed by many.

KSU is a dangerous team with some really nice pieces, though.

Boldin (6'11" transfer from Georgetown) and Hurt (6'10" 280# JUCO) should help out nicely. Plus 6'4 SG Transfer from Maine - Edwards, who might be the Teams best offensive player.
