Rich Gannon was productive with the Chiefs. He kicked butt in 1997. Then Marty replaced him with Elvis Grbac and our team went to shit. |

Baldwin been listed as a fantasy sleeper WR, post-trade...ROFL

and Baldwin's pathetic 'career' will always be tempered by the pick of Houston |
The guy is doing nothing. Anywhere. Problem is, we did nothing to better the corps.
JFC we suck. |

Times have changed, and Marty was a great coach but he's a dinosaur. Alex Smith was playing his ass off last season, best QB rating in the NFL... got hurt and in came the back-up. Harbaugh went with the hot hand. |

Baldwin catches the football the same way Charles Rogers does in this commercial. |
I'd love to know what they saw the other night that impressed the Niners. Baldwin might have been the worst player on the field. He just looked terrible out there. Slow, couldn't catch, couldn't separate, just nothing.

This trade is most likely lose/lose all around. These guys are lucky both teams are agreeing to give them a fresh start with zero expectations. Posted via Mobile Device |

So, how is Jenkins at 5 yards or less? This is important!

Hopefully if he does catch a pass behind the LOS; he spins furiously and two or three guys swarm him. We're also fond of this sort of WR. |

HAI GUYS U KNOW WOTS SCARY? TAKING QBS AND PLAYMAKER WRS IN THE 1ST ROUND!!

The only comparison I can come up with, is a baseball one.
The Royals traded a worthless pitcher for a worthless pitcher. Jonathan Sanchez for Jeremy Guthrie. Worthless receiver for a worthless receiver? Shit, one of 'em might work out. I assume that's what they're thinking. |
This trade reminds me of the Great Chiefsplanet Free Agency Period of 2013.
We we're on the clock with hope, and traded a few know-it-all dipshits from New England for a whole ****ing gaggle of queer-assed, bay area fan girls. yay. |

In a city where there is basically three things to do: Oceans of Fun, the Plaza or Arrowhead, you'd think Chunt could/would field a winner by now.

Sounds like Baldwin is gonna practice tomorrow. I would assume the same for Jenkins.
Any ideas? |

This is gonna work out guys, Just once something like this works out for the chiefs. He's gonna be desean Jackson like
|
I like this trade. I was watching Baldwin in the SF game. It looked like he was running in quicksand. He has zero breakaway capability, no separation, no hands. Just height and strength. If you can't catch the football, it doesn't help much.
Fresh start for both guys. Hope its a win-win. |

all of which makes no sense at all a suspicious person could speculate that Baldwin might have been on PED's in college and now is off them. maybe he's getting drunk every night? |

LOL the 49ers would have cut him otherwise.
|
Will Harbaugh send him to the probowl?
The Alex smith we got last Friday was not the Harbaugh version that has played the last two years that's for sure. |

he is going to have to work his ass off. And the same goes for Aj Jenkins. Aj Jenkins has the talent, he just is lazy. |

Other than the huge run play we gave up I thought both defenses played well in the 1st half. Were this a regular season game I'd expect it to be the same way... |
If Harbaugh can't motivate a player he must be a worthless piece of shit.
With that said, I am still thrilled that Baldfail is gone. |

Special teams is looking to be special. Its all going to depend on the offense. That will dictate how special a season the Chiefs will have. |

He reminds me of Marty, only with the balls to stab the other team in the heart. The only thing that can stop Harbaugh is if his coaching style wears out his team. |

I don't see us beating some of the better teams on our schedule (Texans, Broncos, etc.) but just not turning the ball over and letting the offense run through JC will get us 6-7 wins with this schedule... |

I re-watched the game last night just focusing on Jenkins. Looks a heck of a lot better than Baldwin for our offense.
|
Jon will have Kaep throwing to him. I think he has a better chance to make it.

Jenkins looks to be more in line with the Avery, Wylie, and McCluster make up. Very quick. With Bowe and our TE's, that seems to be more what we need than another big receiver. Players that can get downfield quick to move the DB's back to create space for the underneath routes. A speed receiver opposite Bowe and a speed receiver in the slot, or two speed receivers on the outside when they decided to line Bowe up in the slot should really make our offense have more options than just check downs to Charles. And it should give Charles more room to maneuver if we do check it down. As an example. On what may have been our longest play the other night, screen pass to Davis that went for 17 yards, Avery, Wylie, and McCluster were our receivers. They all got off the line quick and ran hard down the field. Cleared out all kinds of space for the linemen and Davis to work out on the right side. And the result was our best play of the night. If not the best, it was pretty close to the best. |

Every game every team has plays missed because the QB misses a throw or a receiver drops a pass or a guy misses a block. Its hard to qualify one play and dismiss others. |
