LOL...

Thanks

Also happy for Kurt - came in third

Kenseth and (think) Stewart round out the top 5

In58men 03-23-2014 04:31 PM

I don't like Cryle, but whatever great finish.

Dylan 03-23-2014 04:31 PM

It can be your driver next week - Bunch of amazing NASCAR drivers!

GloryDayz 03-23-2014 04:32 PM

It's Fontana... you don't have to be really fast to win, you just have to time the cautions right, and guess..

Congrats KB, you guessed well..

Dylan 03-23-2014 04:37 PM

Fontana results:

1 Kyle Busch; 2 Larson; 3 Kurt Busch; 4 Kenseth; 5 Stewart; 6 McMurray; 7 Vickers; 8 Allmendinger; 9 Menard; 10 Edward.

Impressive stuff from the rookie - Larson...

C3HIEF3S 03-23-2014 04:49 PM

Wasn't able to watch live, have the DVR set, will report when finished. :)

Just fast forward through the first 95% of the race, it's Fontana, it doesn't matter...

Al Bundy 03-23-2014 07:41 PM

What the hell happened to Kahne?

C3HIEF3S 03-23-2014 10:16 PM

Welp, disappointing race with all of the tire issues, exciting finish. Was hoping Larson could get the win.

Really, really disappointed with the tires though, couldn't run more than 20 laps on them without seriously risking blowing one. Sucks for JJ especially, he had that race won.

It was weird. I don't think I've seen so many left sides go. And after awhile, they KNEW they were gonna go. Did anyone even blow a right side?

I'm not really up to date on tire tech now, but I know left sides used to be a softer compound than rights, because right sides naturally took the bulk of the stress; the cars were leaning on them. I guess the new cars and setups will make Goodyear rethink that, if they haven't already.

No shit... Terrible that tires can't last as long as a tank of gas.

Dylan 03-30-2014 11:51 AM

Where the hell was Brad's spotter & CC - Everybody knows that Martinsville has the smallest pit stalls on the circuit.

RNR 03-30-2014 11:54 AM

It will be interesting if the 41 and the 2 get close~

The spotter probably assumed he saw the car directly in front of him.

Dylan 03-30-2014 12:01 PM

Brad doesn't have much left to wreck him with...LOL

Unfort. it will not be the last crash on pit lane

C3HIEF3S 03-30-2014 12:03 PM

Wasn't like half of Brads car missing last week too?

NASCAR should let the drivers duke it out after the race. Kind of like hockey.

Dylan 03-30-2014 12:06 PM

I think Brad had a tire go down last week

Dylan 03-30-2014 12:08 PM

Field filler crash

Wow, glad Larson missed it.

There was a time that is exactly what happened. Half the crap that goes on nowadays wouldn't if that still was the way. You have drivers pulling crap because they know they don't have to go face to face. NASCAR has eliminated personal accountability. The only way to get even now is to trash equipment~

RNR 03-30-2014 12:14 PM

The pinup girl taking top ten equipment to 34th~

Dylan 03-30-2014 12:15 PM

JimiJo and Kenseth are due - They're good at this track - as long as they keep out of trouble.

Dylan 03-30-2014 12:24 PM

How did Gordon damage the front of his car?

I tuned in approx. 3rd or 4th lap of the race

Fairplay 03-30-2014 12:25 PM

I just tuned in what are the highlights of this race so far?

Dylan 03-30-2014 12:32 PM

1. Brad and Kurt wreck on pit lane
2. Brad is pissed after the pit lane incident and bumps Kurt on the track
3. Biffle bumps JimiJo for the lead
4. Few cars are wheel hopping....
5. DW says, "Gordon doesn't have any drive..."
6. Kurt doing pretty good now, up to 12th - 15th

Fairplay 03-30-2014 12:34 PM

Sounds like fun

Dylan 03-30-2014 12:35 PM

Poor Danica is two laps down

Dylan 03-30-2014 12:45 PM

Wow...Marcos almost takes out Logano, Dale, Jr and JimiJo

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh! McMurray, hard hit into the wall! McMurray came down on Junior...

Caution is out

Dylan 03-30-2014 12:58 PM

#23 into the wall -

Does Gilliland have brakes? The second wreck, he has caused today. Guess he is not finished wrecking people.

Dylan 03-30-2014 01:09 PM

Not sure why Junior stayed out...Maybe to lead one lap??

New tires is the way to go.

C3HIEF3S 03-30-2014 01:16 PM

If not Edwards, I want Kurt to win it to shove it right in Brad's face.

Dylan 03-30-2014 01:20 PM

I would love to see Kurt win - but Jimmie looks unstoppable.

I think we are heading for at least 20 cautions today.

GloryDayz 03-30-2014 01:24 PM

And yard work begins!!! Ugh!

RNR 03-30-2014 01:24 PM

The snake bit 4 continues to annoy me~

GloryDayz 03-30-2014 01:32 PM

Jeff's got Band-Aids, did he get bumped?

Pepe Silvia 03-30-2014 01:38 PM

Jimmie watch your tires.

He will be back up front in no time.

During the last few weeks, Kevin had the fastest car on the track and most likely had the car to beat until something went terribly wrong with #4.

C3HIEF3S 03-30-2014 01:50 PM

Aww, Larson spins out.

I'm not sure what happened - When I tuned in the car had damage.

Oh no, Larson spins out...Did Biff spin him out?

Dylan 03-30-2014 01:59 PM

Caution is out as FOX is showing commercials

C3HIEF3S 03-30-2014 02:02 PM

That seems like this years MO~

Dylan 03-30-2014 02:14 PM

I wonder if drivers take Dramamine or wear a special wristband to prevent nausea at Martinsville.

Fairplay 03-30-2014 02:15 PM

Last week JJ had the fastest car but had tire issues, he seems to have the fastest car a lot.

Dylan 03-30-2014 02:22 PM

Oh Lord, Brad spins out Truex, Jr.

#2 better watch his back...

Who hit Kenseth on pit road? I was busy typing...

C3HIEF3S 03-30-2014 02:23 PM

Kenseth gets spun in the pits by Carl

Fairplay 03-30-2014 02:25 PM

Perfect spin for Kenseth at least, I hope it doesn't effect Carl's car.

That was last weekend for me. Now I get to get the yard's edge right since the city ****ed-up the yards as they put in new curbs. And today was dedicated to pulling DEEEEEP and fatly-rooted oak saplings that had worked their way into the root systems of the butterfly bushes.

It finally took the truck and a few pulls to finally just rip them out. Too many years of just trying to cut them back and hoping they'd just die off allowed for the roots to be 3-4 inches in diameter.. Toe rope kept pulling off (actually skinned the bark off, but after 4-5 tries, they finally came out.

C3HIEF3S 03-30-2014 02:30 PM

I know of some nieghborhoods that they planted oak trees not more then 4 feet from the sidewalks and the roots just buckle them up.
Sounds like some hard work GD.

C3HIEF3S 03-30-2014 02:32 PM

Kurt is right there

Fairplay 03-30-2014 02:33 PM

I figured Edwards damaged his car on pit road.

They were 18 inches from the house, so yeah, they had to come out...

As for hard work, ask the big Chevy truck, it did the work, I just wrapped the tow rope around the base, the the roots a few times.

Yes

FYI for the future, if you want to kill a tree or bush that you've cut off there's a product called Tordon that will do it. It's deadly on a fresh cut.

Would it kill the butterfly bush that it had nuzzled up next/into too?
