Rios making that reeruned misplay not keeping track of outs, Hosmer with a couple of fielding issues. Even our hitting was suspect, but came alive during the late innings to make up for it. If the Royals were playing their A-game, this would've been an easy sweep, no questions asked.

We got hit with injuries and fatigue and experienced a definite World Series hangover in 16... but the hangover hit the Mets too. They lost Harvey, Matz and Degrom to serious arm injuries this year. Many on the site felt that they gambled on their players' careers for a chance to play the Royals in the World Series.. and they lost.

Meh, we actually hit him pretty hard. If Gordo hadn't been thrown at out third in the 3rd Terry said he likely would have pulled Thor for Colon if a fourth run passed the plate. That game was much closer to a W than the final score indicates.

He also roasted a two RBI triple in Game 2 that put the dagger in the Mets and allowed Johnny to finish the game. Esky was absolutely clutch in the 2015 postseason, he was pretty much playoff Jesus.
