It's not their opening day, it's OUR opening day. And more than likely MLB's opening game.

Not once have I seen a post where they admit that our team is better. They're so stuck up their own ass about their own team it's unreal.

"we were playing like shit. if we were really on our A-game, we would've stomped them."

Have Mets fans even once considered that the Royals weren't playing their A-game all series either? Rios making that reeruned misplay not keeping track of outs, Hosmer with a couple of fielding issues. Even our hitting was suspect, but came alive during the late innings to make up for it. If the Royals were playing their A-game, this would've been an easy sweep, no questions asked.

Silly, silly stuff.

And your comments further solidify the point of sports. Two teams competed, one team won. That's all that matters. Everything else is noise.

Do you ever say anything that isn't mind-blowingly stupid? I mean, seriously. Are you just trolling with everything you type?

Perineum Ripper 11-05-2015 02:37 AM

The better team is the team that has the lead late every game.

Mets were the better team. Mets had a terrible manager.

Royals win the world series

This one cracks me up.."the better team had the lead late in every game"..yeah the Royals did dipshit that's why they won

Yeah, you won't get through. They only allow Mets fans, probably by referrals. That way nobody interrupts their 24/7 circle jerk.

Definitely my choice. I love it when he comes back in to pitch the ninth.

ChiefsCountry 11-05-2015 01:19 PM

No Comeback Player of the Year on the team either. Still beat their ass. /Mr. John Gomes

As I he allows the opposing team to comeback to win the World Series?

Let it go. We won.

Gonzo 10-07-2016 01:36 AM

I don't bump old threads often but I had to here.

The Royals had a rough, unlucky year with all the injuries and what have you.
That being said, at least these asshats are still miserable.

If anyone wants to meet Thor he will be about 400 feet from the diamond in the outfield stands.

Mine was confirmed in like January, IIRC.

I never logged in, as the fun was over.

pr_capone 10-07-2016 10:21 AM

Hey... at least they got Tebow now!

srvy 10-07-2016 12:00 PM

I hope that Thor POS relives that nightmare of a pitch for the rest of his living days. Time for a haircut also.

If anything, it shows how lucky we were to have 2015.

We got hit with injuries and fatigue and experienced a definite World Series hangover in 16... but the hangover hit the Mets too. They lost Harvey, Matz and Degrom to serious arm injuries this year. Many on the site felt that they gambled on their players' careers for a chance to play the Royals in the World Series.. and they lost.

Good. F them anyway.

I was actually pulling for the Mets, not sure why, but I was. Now I don't really care who wins it all.

Discuss Thrower 10-07-2016 03:33 PM

I kind of think the hysteria over the baseball club nicknamed "the Indians" winning a WS would be enjoying to see from a sort of masochistic point of view.

I actually had no problem with the Mets till this head hunting asshole Thor. The guy is always throwing it up above the shoulders and all you get is heis old school from the writers like Nolan Ryan. Herrera gets suspension for pointing Thor blatently says he is gonna do it and does and to meet him 60'6" if you dont like it. He gets nothing but NY praise. Hate that pussy!

Yeah. That pissed me the **** off. If I were Escobar I'd have popped up and chucked the bat, you know, if the World Series wasn't in the balance.

It's probably good for them he did it or they might have gotten swept.

Meh, we actually hit him pretty hard. If Gordo hadn't been thrown at out third in the 3rd Terry said he likely would have pulled Thor for Colon if a fourth run passed the plate. That game was much closer to a W than the final score indicates.

****ing Bartolo. There is a dude on PEDs.

Did Thor throw at the first batter in the WC game?

I don't think so. Esky was killing the Mets and it was clear they wanted to send us a message.

A few games later, Esky sent one back.

That in the park homerun on the first pitch was in ****ing credible. It doesn't get brought up. Early enough.

He also roasted a two RBI triple in Game 2 that put the dagger in the Mets and allowed Johnny to finish the game. Esky was absolutely clutch in the 2015 postseason, he was pretty much playoff Jesus.
