In reality you should be playing a lot of 3 deep zone when you're winning 35-10 problem is we have several guys who suck balls at zone coverage.

This defense would improve if we had less talented guys with brains in their heads at the moment, at least in the secondary.

Murray is the main problem right now.

They're already better in man coverage. What they need is better zone awareness. A trained monkey has a higher football IQ than Murray.

You can't tell me that Armani Watts or Jordan Lucas couldn't play that spot better.

You know if you put Thomas out there and Berry comes back that would probably give the CB's some more confidence and with as good as Thomas is maybe Berry can freelance a bit going for big plays.

And that confidence gets pushed out to the rest of this defense as well. The ILBs are more confident because they know they have Thomas and Berry behind them. The defensive line....same thing.

Lots of ifs...but that would be the best safety combo in modern NFL history. TEs might as well stay in and block..

I know it isn’t a simple operation to trade for and extend the guy but they should definitely be exploring it.

If you have Berry out there you can shut the TEs down. If Thomas is deep, he’s going to cover up a lot down the field. That combination would bring a lot to the table for a team that is going to have to protect leads.

That's another thing if Berry is just not gonna be able to play...come to a settlement and replace him with Thomas.

Like I said I have no question that Thomas will still be a productive player when Berry's career is over.

We will need to send Clark a signed letter by all of us promising to buy more Hunts products then i'm sure he'll pull the trigger.
