Many thanks to 007, Monty and the rest of the crew who set this thing up. I haven't seen so many Planeteers at a tailgate party since the B5 days. It was great seeing all the new faces along with all the old familiar ones. The only thing missing was a celebration toast for earning a SB berth.

I enjoyed my 15 to 20 minutes there and meeting 007, Frazod, and Luv, and seeing KcDan and stevieray for the first time in several years! Would have liked to have met more of you!

Just for a short time. Probably right around !:00 give or take a bit. I had my son with me. He just turned 21, and I bought him 2 tickets for the game for his 21st birthday. He invited me to use the second one! :)

The tailgate was epic IMO! Thanks for all the positive comments and we're looking to do this thing again next year. It was great to meet so many of you for the first time, and just as important, hanging out with the CPers drinking that hot apple pie and enjoying some great BBQ. Stevieray did a great job as the guest DJ, so need to make that a thing going forward.

It was great to see the folks from Topeka, Springfield, Iola, etc. all work together to make this happen. Sure we lost, but it wasn't due to our efforts. :thumb:

Oh, and I can't freakin' believe this, but I found a Thermos in the bed of my truck. ROFL My wife saw it and said there's no way in hell that we're mailing that back to Clay!!

Oh, forget to mention the BBQ beans that Mr. and Mrs. Dartgod brought. Soooo good!!!

I didn't get to see you, Monty. Thanks for putting that together. Several times I asked "Who's Monty? Where is he? I want to say thanks for this." The common response was "I don't know, he's over there somewhere" as they vaguely pointed in the direction of the tent.

Monty and 007 did a great job. The "tent city" was phenomenal. I can't remember everybody I met but Dartgod, Superturtle, Frazod, loochy, OTWP, it was off the hook.

I sat with Hammock Parties during the game and it changed my life. I don't think I'll ever be able to be negative about the Chiefs again, despite the loss. Hugging that dude, watching the tears, it was life-changing.

Thanks, they are soooo easy to make.

Ingredients
1 pound Jimmy Dean regular breakfast sausage
1 med/lg onion, chopped
4 (16 ounce) cans baked beans with pork (I used Bush's Original)
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup barbeque sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Cook sausage and onions in a skillet until sausage is browned. Drain excess fat.
Add to browned sausage: baked beans with pork, mustard powder, brown sugar, ketchup, barbeque sauce and Worcestershire sauce; mix well. Pour into a casserole dish and bake 40 to 50 minutes.

Not at all. I was quite warm. I do a lot of fly fishing, so I own lots of thin, lightweight, warm clothes. On top, I was wearing an under armor base shirt, a merio wool t shirt, a merino wool sweater, a thin fleece plover, and then my chiefs hoodie. On the bottom, I wore under armor base layer, cabelas thermals, merino wool leggings, and my adidas track pants. Yeah, I was warm.

You use lots of words that sound warm. And you're still alive. So I'll believe it.
