What's funny is that since Mahomes has started they have said Jackson, Mayfield, Murray, Burrow, Herbert, and Allen are all better. In spite of that he has almost as many playoff wins as all of them.......combined. He has hosted more home playoff games than all of them, has as many MVPs as all of them combined, more playoff TD passes than all of them combined, more SB wins than all of them combined, more SB appearances than all of them combined, and more SB MVPs than all of them combined.

Mahomes is so much better than all of them that he has no rival and they "experts" have to create narratives and give him his "Manning".

Wins are more about the team & coaches helping the QB than the QB by himself. Look at Stafford with the Rams compared to Detroit. An even better example might be Goff with the Rams compared to Detroit.

The Chiefs are superior to Cincy in almost every other measurable way.

Everything had to go right for Cincy in the first matchup and a lot of consecutive “flukes” had to happen for us to lose that game.

I feel like this is the wrong angle.

We said this week 17 and they won. The more important stat is Reid in revenge games and Mahomes head to head vs QBs that have beaten him.

The numbers show it's practically unheard of for them to win Sunday.

Theory #2: He's still not good, Bills game notwithstanding. The OL is plowing holes big enough for the average ChiefsPlanet member to gain 10 yards. He still can't break tackles or work his way into the receiving game.

The last time Cincy won at Arrowhead was in 2012… the Save Our Chiefs game.

Anything over 160 points would be impressive but Niners set the record of 131 points in just 3 post season games without the benefit of an OT. They averaged nearly 44 point per game.

In the past usually a team like the Chiefs were just playing at most 3 post season games so that is why the record is so relatively low. The extra team in the post season is inevitable over time going to lead to most post season records being broken.

With number 2 seeds having to play in wildcard round and now 7 teams in playoffs, it is inevitable that Niners record is going down either this year or very soon given recent trends in NFL.

I don't believe that map. Mahomes has fans all over because how jaw dropping his plays are Burrow just got sacked 9 times. Bring pressure on Mahomes and he scrambles just to deliver a strike out of now where.


We got to defend Chase and I know Burrows has some other guys to throw to if he can't get Chase but he won't have time with Jones and Engram down his throat and the loudest stadium in the world his ears are going to bleed.

Cincy is an easy team to root for right now but if they play their cards right with all of their cap room and with Burrow/Chase on rookie contracts in a few years, they may be disliked themselves.

What will be interesting is the map when/if Rams/Niners face the Chiefs. I doubt either of those teams are as liked as underdog Cincy. Niners may not have won a title recently but lots of people still dislike them based upon their previous success in 80's and 90's.

I can’t figure out why the Media has to make up all this stupid BS in order to promote interest. They did the same thing with the Bills game last week. The game sold itself. What I find hilarious is that every year in the NFL, there is an "upstart" type team that makes the playoffs, and sometimes they make a little noise, and other times they fizzle out in the first round....

But they never make it to the Super Bowl.....I mean, I'm sure it happened, but in my recent memory the 2018 Chiefs were probably the closest, and even that bunch was a pretty "playoff battle tested" type team except for Pat Mahomes....

The point is that, while the Bengals obviously have the bones to be a very good team for the next several years, they collectively have little to no playoff experience together. They are not a battle tested squad, and they are going into the house of what is probably, collectively the most playoff battle tested team maybe in the history of the NFL this side of the Patriots dynasty

As I always say: could the Bengals win....well, sure....it's the NFL. Does history mean anything on any given day? No it does not....

But these are the types of games that tend to be laughers, because the Bengals have done nothing to make their playoff bones, and that doesn't bode well for them.
