Well you've got an internet message board full of strangers and friends who feel love for ya. I'm just a lurker but I have appreciated you as a poster as well as your candor in the last couple months. Its made me feel better about my own end whenever it comes.

This place has been a god send once I started staying home. There are truly some great people here. When I first started staying home I'd check this place 10+ a day but that went way down when I couldn't get the words to make sense. I can tell time is getting short so Im trying to come up with something while it's still on my terms.

Also you may run into Flopnuts he carries his balls in a wheelbarrow. I'm asking because I'm not going to make it to Heaven

Just keep fighting. My wife battled stage 4 breast cancer for seven years. This was on the fridge and on one of the walls.

Just wanted to echo what a lot of other people have said in here. I don't think we've had a lot of interactions, but I've followed this thread closely. Sometimes you get so busy with just day to day things you don't think about the big, important stuff. How you've handled this tough road has been an inspiration and it's legitimately made an impact in how I interact with my family and friends. Thanks for your honesty, perspective and candor. Rooting for you to have as many good days as possible going forward.

Hey Haywire,

Don't give up.

I'm from the Charger site and a guy there, who was diagnosed with lung cancer, was given two weeks by his doctors. He also gave his final adieu to the fan forum there.

That was sometime in February of last year. He's still posting and kicking.
His name is Chargeroo.

I have had quite a few losses recently so death has been on my mind. If this is too deep, please ignore, but when did you come to peace about your diagnosis? What were your thoughts to put you at peace?

I new something was wrong for year before I just didn't want to
See a doc. The first couple of days were rough.its a weird feeling know that I'm actually dying as a type this.
I don't think there is anyway to truly be at peace.....but if you smile a lot and remember there is people out there that have it worse.

You're truly an inspiration. We're all in the same line inevitably. God has blessed you with time to say goodbyes and resolution. Many of us won't get that.

Perhaps I could gift your family four of my seats to a game that they could attend in your honor?? All of my tickets for this season are spoken for but I could do next season if I know how to get in touch with them.

Have you found that any of your beliefs or perspectives have changed since you accepted it? Done any thinking about what comes next? How are your family dealing with it? I'm curious about the mind's processing of these kinds of things.

These terrible situations are always a struggle to respond to because whatever words one can come up with seem wholly inadequate to the moment (I never really could find them for Joe earlier this year and that haunts me) And then you feel like an ass because you’re lamenting a struggle with words while someone is physically, emotionally and mentally suffering and in the throes of leaving their loved ones to face this world with out them.

It’s been a pleasure “knowing” you. Thank you for the example you’ve set in facing this tragedy. Thank you for the many genuine laughs starting with the CP Royal Court and the “feud” with Bearcat that came out of that with the Christmas time pink bunny picture and sign, and everything else that happened thereafter, up to and including allowing me to parody your testicles.

I pray you go with and in peace, and that God grants your family peace and comfort in your absence. And I promise to give Gaycat hell for you from time to time in your memory.
