This is what I'm saying. Purdy is the weak link, teams need to exploit Purdy's weaknesses. He pressed early in the game, left some yards/points on the field, and could've turned the ball over maybe three times early.

Since you can't really count on Deebo/Kittle/CMC/Aiyuk/Bosa/Greenlaw/Warner to have bad days or otherwise shit the bed, gotta take advantage of the rookie, if possible.

Just not getting the point of hyping up the 49ers to the point of saying the Chiefs would need a "historically great game" to beat them... considering their defense was swiss cheese the first time they played.

No team these days is just head/shoulders/torso above anyone else, but you're acting like the 49ers are some juggernaut because they've beaten some shit teams over the past month.

Reminds me a lot of the 2020 Bills and that hype train when they were running up the score on everyone... and we know how that turned out.

Okay, I'm willing to be converted. Outside of Purdy, show me a real significant weakness that SF will have to hide/cover in the playoffs. Which team is the worst matchup for them and why?

That's like saying "besides the motor, show me why my Jeep might breakdown".

The Chiefs, Bengals, and Bills are all bad match ups, because they are playoff-seasoned teams with high octane offenses that destroy 'elite' defenses.

And the 49ers might be great... they might go toe to toe with the Chiefs and both teams might have to aim for 30+ for all we know. The Chiefs would probably have to play well, because of course they would in the Super Bowl.

But you also said the Chiefs would have to play "historically well in all 3 phases", which is just silly.
