Holy ****, Motte. Just throw that same pitch 5 more times.

It takes 2 pitches to know if Motte is going to mow down the side.
If his first pitch is a fastball around 98 thrown for a strike, that's a very good sign.
If his second pitch is a fastball around 98 thrown for a strike, then you can probably just change the channel and come back for the next half-inning because Motte's about to own some bitches.
It's when he goes out there tentatively and guides his fastball that he gets hit. It straightens out (even more) and comes in around 93 and with way too much plate. Then he gets panicky and throws his sorta cutter thing that comes in at around 89...which will also get too much plate. Then he really freaks out and leans on his 82 mph slurvy thing, which will also get bombed.
If he's throwing his heat right, his offspeed stuff will also work because he has faith in it. At that point, lights out.
But last night he could've been bad Motte and still gotten away with it in the park where line drives go to die.
