The Chargers did EVERYTHING coaching wise the blow the game in NE. Who the hell plays Soft Zone vs Brady?

Oh and we sacked Brady 3 times this year WITHOUT Justin Houston...

That's terrific. But who won the game?
Sacks are mice, but overrated. Consistent pressure is much more important.

Hey, don't get me wrong.....KC = good team and worthy of an AFCCG appearance. I'm not disrespecting them at all. I just don't think they will beat NE this week, for any number of reasons. But if they do, I'll be here to extend props to them.

Where did that first game take place?

The Chiefs have only allowed 17.4 PPG at home this year, and have gone 34 straight home games without allowing 30 points.

Also look at the Patriots home vs. road situation.

The Patriots at home are 9-0 with a +105 point differential.

On the road? The Patriots are 3-5, with a -19 point differential and five losses to non-playoff teams.

If you’re going to the game, make sure and pass the word along about Cowherd and his challenge to the fans...

PatsFannNH 01-16-2019 10:07 AM

I have a feeling Cordarrelle Patterson is going to be a prominent presence in the game.

What is the temperature supposed to be for the game? I heard below zero by 4th Q?

Anyone catch Inside the NFL last night - and catch Boomer's quick comment about "inconsistent officiating" in the Colts game (insinuating that the colts got bad calls)??

Later in the show when they were talking chiefs/pats, Boomer made a point to say the game may be dictated by whether or not the officials let the chiefs secondary "mug" the patriots.....and went as a far as to say (and show a clip) of Berry "mugging" Gronk in the opener last year.

Oh, the irony..........

Excuse me, but even my wife, who doesn't watch football or know anything about it, happened to be sitting in the room watching a bit that day and questioned some of the no call PI plays where your guys were riding on Colts receivers before the ball got there, all day long, IMO. Not that the officiating this season hasn't been particularly atrocious, but yeah, I think you got away with a few drive-stopping no calls. Reid's been around long enough to know they only call one out every five violations, and, I suspect, coaches them up that way.

BTW, I think ALL teams get away with too much holding, tugging, mugging in today's NFL, including NE, but the Chiefs got away with more than their fair share.

Perhaps you've noticed our new QB?

BB the greatest coach in any sport of all time is in the middle of his Wednesday presser.

It is bad mojo to have all of these stoopid Pat's trolls in the Gameday thread.

CHUNG!!!

BleedingRed 01-16-2019 10:17 AM

I'm hoping Andy put Tyreek back on kickoffs, that alone could make a difference in the game.

You mean like the no calls the last time the Pats played the Chiefs?

Kelce is held nearly every play (we have plenty of GIFS from this season's pats game as well).

Hence, the "irony" comment in my post.

Also - if you were here for more weeks than just this one, you'd know that the chiefs defense, overall, have been on the bad-end of a large amount of "touch fouls".

Again, hence, the "irony" comment.

Point being, boomer (and anyone else on that narrative), can go **** themselves. The chiefs have been on the bad end of that, way more than the good end.
