This DL is nothing special. Like what are we thinking here? |
It says a lot when the explanation for their picks makes no sense...

It's funny that clowns like you think Mahomes has something to prove to you. He could retire today, forfeit the Super Bowl, and still have achieved more than Hurts ever will. |

From the media interviews it was relayed that the Eagles plan to have Cooper DeJean on Kelce since he covers the slot and Kelce lines up there a ton.
Godspeed young man. This is the best non-QB in playoff history. No pressure |

Carton's just the apex dipshit. Florio's a bad actor -- a somewhat intelligent person who's just a bitter, jilted asshole with an axe to grind. Carton, on the other hand, probably can't change a lightbulb and sweats when he reads. He's just a goddamn moron. |

Man, can you imagine someone with game-breaking speed like Henderson to throw into those RPOs? LBs in conflict with Kareem Hunt means the Chiefs gain 6-8 yards if everything goes wrong for Philly. You put a genuine top 12 RB on this roster and suddenly that 8 yard gain becomes 40. If I'm the LBs I cheat pass on the RPO looks and force them to beat me with the ground game. And if I'm KC, my answer might just be to give Pacheco some early carries on the RPOs to see if he can pop one for 20-30 yards and give them something to think about there. |

Great draft to go get a dude at RB but that's a story for another month from now. Yes, they would be stupid to play into the Chiefs hands early on by leaving the pass windows vacant. I strongly suspect the Eagles defense starts out hot headed, and it would be better to call your traps and zone runs and let the RPOs be more of a factor later on. Eh then again, their energy early could be used against them with RPOs, too. But also again, I think the DL has to be just as disciplined as the LBs for it to work. That's what the Bengals, Raiders, and even Buffalo started to do late a couple weeks ago. The DL sees mesh and they do a hell of job just holding the LOS and attacking the gap as the RB gets to the LOS. If Philly's young DL doesn't show that same discipline, Baun can play pass all he wants, Kareem will run for 4-8 over and over. |
