What do people think of the Ernest P. Worrell movies?

Ernest Goes to Camp is the one most people miss, but I find it charming. The plunger gag at the beginning is pretty funny.

Another classic part of a triumphant comedy feature.

I am in 100% agreement with this.

When I saw this in the theater when I was a kid, I laughed my ass off at the, "ohhewwwwwwww" face he makes. It's still funny today, maybe because I remember how funny I thought it was back then, but I don't care. Blow me if you think it's juvenile.

Pretty sure Jim Varney was a big inspiration for Jim Carrey.

Earnest did a decent job as Jed Clampett in the Beverly Hillbillies movie as well. And Cloris Leachman was great as Granny. Outside of that I don't remember much of the movie at all.
