Is sure felt good to fill up a tank at under 18 bucks again though. |
1.85 here in Johnson City, TN. I hear its cheaper in other parts of the state, but I'm happy with it being under 2 bucks a gallon. I had a half tank in the jeep the other day and figured I finish filling it up and it held 20 bucks which was a little over 11 gallon, I thought damn that must be like a 25 gal tank!!! What used to cost 92-100 dollars to fill up now cost about 50.

I coulda swore I saw 1.69 or something somewhere around Johnson County. I will find out tomorrow when I fill my 19 gallon beast up.

Over the summer when gas prices were in the 4 dollar range, i was having some issues with my riding lawnmower. First thing in the book it said to get rid of the old gas and replace it new gas.
I went to home depot, told them i just needed a 8 foot thn hose because i need to syphon some gas. They looked at me all funny. I didn't explain the situation to them. I thought let them think i'm a stealing bastard. |
$1.69 at Sams Club in Bentonville Ar with the discount.

I remember my mom paying like .52 cents a gallon back in the early 80's. She could fill up her Chevy Chevette for like 6 bucks. ROFL

I passed UnoCal in Venice yesterday and regular was $2.35. That seemed like a bargain, but I haven't been paying attention to the prices lately.
|
$1.56 a gallon yesterday in my undisclosed neck of the woods.
