Those Kansas City wants it more shirts are kind of awesome.

We were discussing the options at the bar earlier before the game was over. I was all for Edison as he has been our most consistent pitcher all year and it is game 1 of 7. I see no reason not to go this route.

Yeah, we absolutely have to let Cueto start the 9th.

Amazing you thought that. I knew for a fact Davis was coming in for the 9th. No brainer.

Cueto deserves a chance at finishing this game

not in the playoffs .. no way .. not when Wade Davis is on your team

Yup.

Agreed. The chances of anyone blowing a 5 run lead in the 9th is astronomically low. However, the chances of Wade Davis blowing a 5 run lead in the ninth are getting struck by lighting while winning the lottery on a crashing plane low.

Hootie 10-14-2015 11:13 PM

What a great game to watch. Rios shocked me.

And that's exactly the Johnny Cueto I thought we were getting. He was so good. I haven't seen anyone pitch like that (sans Wade Davis) since Greinke. That's what I thought we were getting. He was AMAZING. That is a good sign for us going forward.

I am SO glad we are playing Toronto. I want nothing more than to beat the **** out of these frauds.

I had a bet at the bar I was at with a buddy 10 : 1 for $10 Wade was coming out in the 9th at 4-2 and not Cueto ... we pulled it once Morales hit the HR but I was 100% certain Wade was coming out in the 9th ... and that's the right move. Regular season, yeah, duh ... Cueto finishes ... postseason? With a ready Wade Davis? No way.

While getting a blow job from a super model and subsequently finding out you just got elected president

FIFY

Wasn't Herrera warming up during the 7th? Thought I saw him out there, but was on the fence about it since Cueto was only at like 85 pitches.

I'll have to watch it tomorrow night to get the whole story on Cueto's location... fun night, will force myself to go to bed before spending $500+ on the weekend. :hmmm:

Volquez vs Price in Kauffman.

Should be interesting.

Toronto scares the hell outta me.

I probably listen to the so-called experts too much as everyone is on the BJ's.

A Salt Weapon 10-14-2015 11:30 PM

Not a bad idea actually, save ace and Cueto for their lesser pitchers to lock up two wins the first time through.
