Um Groves has been pretty productive, just because he works out well doesn't make him a "workout warrior"

Depending on what the Cards do with Rolle, free safety appears to be a trouble spot so.......

The Arizona Cardinals selects FS David Roach TCU

Maybe. :D

It depends if we get it done soon enough and I've got time to kill around that time.

I'm not going to do anything cool like that after the ACTUAL Draft of course, nor will I be doing it the weekend of at all because I'll be out of town.

But I may put some pizzazz in there if the situation calls for it.

Maybe you could look at doing this.

Just giving a grade for the entire draft and then doing best pick and most questionable pick. That way you don't have a do a write up for that many players.

If you look at all of your picks, even the ones you didn't make (like Bennett) their triangle numbers outstrip their production. It's the easiest thing, outside of breaking down a lot of game film to use for a mock draft, which is why all of the other mocks have them going high.

You are proceeding from an illogical start.

Mecca 04-14-2008 04:34 PM

So you don't like my picks because I took athletic guys?

Now that would be very much possible.

Washington Redskins select one of the most promising rookie O-lineman at the collegiate level. A player who played LT, but can play inside as well, he also led Northern Iowa to the 11th best offense in the nation and the 18th best rushing team. The Redskins select OG from Northern Iowa, Chad Rinehart.

Mecca and the Chiefs are OTC. Did the player they want just get picked by the Skins? How is Mecca going to fix the OL for the Chiefs?

He took a 1st round talent at OT in the 5th round.

Strawman.

I don't like some of your picks because you valued the Mike Mamulas over the Zach Thomases.

You cherish measureables over production. It's your opinion, but it's a strategy I find flawed.

I'm sure this pick will spark argument amongst some and weird feelings among others but this is the end of the draft we are in the 6th round and I'm going to take a player I feel is underrated, will make a very good slot WR/return man who I mentioned earlier...

So with that said the Kansas City Chiefs select...Davone Bess, WR, Hawaii..

Let the debate on that begin...

That's just reeruned.

Classic case of a prospect who "Looks like Tarzan, Plays Like Jane"...Has all the physical tools you look for but is an underachiever...Could be a steal if some coach can get him to be more nasty but it's difficult to change a guys demeanor and personality.

He drafted him because of his triangle #s.

If you look at his picks post Ellis, all will have the same scouting report "Great athleticism....questionable awareness, lacks consistency/work ethic..."

That's his draft theory, his choice. But those are the decisions in all sports that lead to guys like A.J. Burnett getting 10 million+ per annum.
