So I'd have actually gone from 9937 to 9880 . loss of $57 If I'd bought at 274.65 I'd have bought 36 shares for 9887.40 I'd have gone from 9887.40 to 9360.72 A loss of $526.68 As it stands going with TSLY and the huge dividend I've gone from 9991 to 10,360.47 a gain of $369.47 So, if TSLA is on an uptrend it's the better investment but in a downtrend TSLY with the huge monthly Dividend provides a better safety net. And also when TSLA is in an uptrend TSLY follows , just not as much. Glad you asked me to do this, it's a real learning lesson. And a little surprising. |
Also just noticed in After hours trading TSLA went down another 1.27
TSLY went up .24 People are loading TSLY on the discount |
Watch this one boys. I'm getting in at 20.46 today. Got pumped to 35 last Thursday.

It's going to run hard when it Blows. Set yer sell order for 9.40 and leave a few shares for YOLO. Set it and forget it. Don't trade with emotion. |

I've bought a few smidges of some stocks like HSY, WMT, and SLP, but in very small quantities. I'm continuing to buy lots of CDs, but the peak has passed. At the peak I got a long-term CD at 5.85 percent, but now the best I can do for long-term CDs is around 5.3, and even those are hard to find. |

November I bought a couple shares of AVPT. Bought Rover before the acquisition announcement so that is doing well. The other two have hovered around my purchase price and slightly down today. |
I forgot one. I also keep buying into PTLO. It's been an absolute dud for me, but I keep averaging down. I've never seen a Portillio's that was not absolutely packed so I am willing to hold it a couple years as the continue to expand into other states.
