New England's celebrity draft picker is about to enter the room.
|
SHOW US YER TITS!!!!
|
For New England's final pick, our celebrity draft picker will make the pick remotely via the World Wide Web. A faculty member at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a fellow at Harvard, he is not formally a citizen of Boston, but we're the Patriots so we don't really care about following the rules. This fellow is widely recognized in Boston as the third-most accomplished denizen of Massachusetts after Brady and Belichick.
We bring you, Tim Berners-Lee, the man without whom this mock draft would not be possible! https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...night-crop.jpg In response to popular demand, he will also be accompanied by the New England Patriots cheerleading squad. https://usatftw.files.wordpress.com/...0&h=600&crop=1 |

Berners-Lee types in the following:
"With the 7-239 pick in the 2017 annual NFL player selection process, the New England Patriots select..." Then the cheerleaders step in with a sexy dance number. This takes a few moments. Berners-Lee waits patiently for them to finish, realizing that his invention will likely allow him to see most of them naked at some point. He smiles. "The New England Patriots select Lorenzo Jerome, S, St. Francis." The cheerleaders do several high kicks and Berners-Lee smiles knowingly. |
New England really should have drafted that Buchanan kid from Miami (OH) on the offensive line, but we have the luxury of having no needs given Tom Brady's holy presence on the field. So we drafted a low-risk, high-reward player who could potentially be a playmaker for us.

New England had no picks in the first two rounds, so we were a bit challenged on high-impact picks. Nonetheless, we're happy that we filled some key areas: pass rush specialists, a potential 1st down running back, safety help to build for the future, and some help in the receiving game.

Trusting Mike Mayocks eyes on this pick. He has him rated as his 5th best OT. Trust me, I wanted to go in another direction, but supply and demand dictated that pick. |
I'm going to go ahead and assume that O.City would like some help on his Giants pick as well. Who wants to make the pick?
I'll also notify that staylor that he's on the clock |
