Im not going to say Mondesi isn't an everyday player based on 30 games in a 60 game season when he's been a pretty good player in the 2 previous seasons. Sure he's not who he was supposed to be, but Im not gonna say he's bad, because he's not.

Mondesi had a 60 game stretch where he hit well, he's not been good at any other point.

Mondesi just turned 25. No way on earth you give up on him anytime soon. The Royals especially have a long list of prospects who never figured it out until 26/27 years old.

Mondi hasn't been the same since the injury. Have to think he's still recovering in some way.

I'm not saying give up on him but he's not going to be the player they told us he was...they made us think he'd be what Tatis Jr is...he won't ever be that.

Well of course not, he plays for the Royals. We likely will never have a Tatis Jr, Acuna, Soto, Lindor, etc. type of player.

While thats not great its still higher than Ryan O Turd, Alex Gordon, Nicky Lopez, Mondesi, and Bubba Starlings OPS. He should have gotten more of a chance. Instead hes traded for Lucious Fox, a mother****er that has a minor league OPS of .325! He ****ing had a .440 OPS in AAA last year. Like what? Are you kidding me?
