NFT: Gmail hack lets you use space as a disk drive
Very sweet little hack for your windows box...
http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm After install just go into your windows explorer and in the my computer area there will be a new device labled "Gmail Drive", it will ask you for you login. Then you can just drag, drop, delete files just like normal. Very, very spoon. |
Can you link others to files? Can you upload files of more than 5 MB (that's the attachment limit I believe)?
|
oh wow an extra GB harddrive.......what exactly is the point?
|
I just downloaded, will try it out. I doubt you can link anyone else to it, unless you want to give them your password.

10mb is the largest file it supports right now.
I need the space for graphics files, I'm tired of trying to keep them synced up. |

just trying to point out that this Gmail thing may be useful  |
OK...lame. Only 10 MB per file?
I have almost 24 gigs free....one more isn't going to make much difference. |
