Anyone Else have a "Slammin" Wife/Girlfriend Significant Other??

Ok. Here is the deal, whenever my wife gets pissed off, she will slam doors violently, throw shit, and typically break shit.

Last night, she was pissed about something... and violently slammed the refrigerator door, which ended up breaking the plastic connector on two of the fridge door shelves...

Luckily I have some Gorilla Compound Glue that solved the problem, But I m interested to hear some other planeteers war stories pertaining to idiotic rage-roid women.

My apologies to those who thought this thread was gonna be about having a hot woman.... well, I have a hot head woman. heh.

My ex wife decided one time that she could make her point by pulling the china cabinet to the floor.....

Reason #117 why she's my ex.

Yeah, I knew/know someone who did/does that... :)

The only thing my wife breaks is my spirit.

Damn, she did more damage to her refrigerator than I did to mine with a gun. ROFL

Actually, I have a really nasty temper and sadly still do shit like that when I get really mad or frustrated, although for the most part I don't break things or injure myself anymore. I have, in the past, punched through walls and kicked/thrown things across rooms. The worst thing I used to do was take out my anger behind the wheel of my car, which was really scary (probably worse than driving drunk).

If she's young, she'll probably grow out of the worst of it, but not completely. One word of advice, DO NOT clean up after her when she breaks things and makes a mess in the process - make her do it herself. Cleaning up afterwards is one of the things that will slowly make her realize that controlling her temper is a good thing.

When the mrs and I first started living together we got into a argument one night and she threw an ashtray through the middle of a beautiful glass top table I'd purchased when living on my own.As I recall I didn't say a word I just stood there mouth open not believing,of all things she'd trashed my favorite piece of furniture.

I used to throw and hit stuff when I got really mad but not so much anymore. That's probably because I don't get mad that much anymore though. If I did get really angry I might still destroy something.

I started to learn to control my temper right after I got busted for assaulting a Petty Officer when I was in the Navy.

Yeah, that's a good life lesson. Hopefully you at least got a few good licks in. :$2500:

So Frazod, what did the Fridge ever do to you? And did it file charges?

It was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. :bang:

It is ironic that as bad as my temper is, the most violent destructive (and stupid) thing I ever did was by accident.

There have been times where my g/f has walked out and slammed the door in front of my roomates, not that I care, but then she gets mad when I didn't go outside to talk to her when she was in her care getting ready to leave?!?!? She says that I didn't care?!?!? Man I really need to work on this decoding of girl code. I knew she was pissed, she left, so I let her.

There isn't any DECODE logic to illogical behavior or her sending mixed signals that you are NOT picking up.

It all comes with age and experience. Just don't put up with this crap.

Treat a '2 year olds' behavior for what it is.

I'm not permitted to act out in front of my wife. I did however beat the shit(no pun intended) out of a toilet that continued to plug up. I hit the damn thing with the plunger, the SOB broke and flooded the floor and the basement. I learned my lesson because I ended up replacing the toilet, vanity, wallpaper and the tile floor. ****ing toilet had to go and I had to remodel. As I said, I'm not permitted to act out.

I think my unconscience realises that if I break my own property, there will just be more reasons for me to be upset lkater on when I come out of it.
