To neuter or not to neuter...3/4 chow
got a 3/4 chow and pitt/german shepard mix in July
wife wants him neutered cause he is now very persistantly after her beagle/terrior mix---dog is 8 years old and has been spayed 7 years ago after one litter of pups. Never had two dogs before so I don't want him neutered, but wife is worried he will hurt the other dog what to do what to do ??? |
Cut his balls off. Not like he is purebred and you could make money by pimping him out.
|
Why would you not?

he is only a puppy not even 8 months old...
Looks purebred and frankly I want him to be a protector and kind of like his fiesty self... maybe its defiance cause she had me neutered ;) |
besides, its not like there will be any puppies. I don't see the harm

Why don't you just go do what she says?

What are the benefits
What are the risks? HEll, we grew up in the country never spayed or neutered any animals just not natural He is going to the Vet Sat and I have to make up my mind by then |
The benefits to a spayed adult male is they immediately demonstrate the ability to utilize internet search engines. Go get the surgery.
Please. |

who pissed in your cereal today? I have made exactly two thread starter in two weeks I wanted first hand stories like so many of other stories and questions on this board. what is your deal? |
Nobody, I'm just giving you a hard time. It's what I do. It's in good fun, dude. Don't ever take me too seriously.
If you spay your male early enough he won't have such a driving urge to mark his territory - everywhere, including your house. Spayed males are generally less hyper and less aggressive towards family members. They won't roam (and get hit by a car). They'll have less tendency to dig. They'll have less tendency to tear up your house. They won't get testicular cancer and are generally healthier overall. |
cut them off
makes for a much more manageable companion... whos got the link to the Neuticals?? |
