Just great,just what I needed

The mrs is wrapping gifts so about 30 minutes ago she turns on the Christmas music channel on DirecTV,loud.Up until now it's been all good, nothing too crazy, but now it's....

"I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" :banghead:

Now the damn thing is stuck in my head, just thought I'd share, after all 'tis the season.

At least it isn't that Titantic song that I always hated.

I hope you're planning to play Rock & Roll pt 2 Sunday night because I'm all about reviving lost traditions.

To the west coast
This is our country

Problem solved.

I think that, if you sing it backwards to yourself, it will sort of erase itself from your brain, Mr. Nzoner.

thus far, I have been able to avoid Christmas music

well, until today when the school had a sing-a-long concert where each grade K-5 sang about five songs each

I'm sorry you have that song stuck in your head, but at least you'll get presents for Christmas...

Did any of the kids pass out of stage fright? That's the only remotely redeeming quality of kiddy concerts.

We have joy, we have fun, we have seasons in the sun.

not at this one

two years ago, when I was student teaching in Manhattan, it happened- not so cool to see a kid go down

I don't mind them having the kids sing and all, but do we really need two hours of it? I say no

I just heard that like an hour ago and started singing it. My girlfriend had never heard it before. :shake:

I know a buddy of mine who did that at multiple concerts throughout elem school. Almost every damn time we had a concert this guy would pass out. It was funny.

I always get this one stuck in my head:

Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys
Who were up to no good
Startin makin trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one lil fight and my mom got scared
She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in bel Air'
