Lamar Hunt Memorial

I went to the service today. It was very nicely done. Three of his four children spoke about their Dad. Quite a few of the players from the past were there. Marty and Donnie Edwards paid their respects.

Not many fans showed up.... :(

Glad to hear that you went. :thumb:

There was only a handful of fans at the Dallas ceremony too. :(

I would have liked to make it, but work obligations prevented it.

Thanks though, for representing those of us who could not attend.

I'll pay my respects on Jan. 31st at The Temple of Arrowhead.

I must ask...which Elvis costume did you wear?

Actually, Carl gave a good tribute.

maybe the message everyone has been pining for was sent today.

I don't know..I've been struggling to figure it out...I know it was impossible for alot of people to get off work..I just thought more people would've shown up.

That is a pretty bad showing. You figure more people would show up, though I can understand a lower turnout because it is a really tough week to get off of work, and people are angry about the Chiefs. But that still isn't an excuse.
