where do you think david carr will end up?
i just seen it scroll across the bottom of nfl network . Adam S, says that the texans have begun to listen to trade offers for him.
|
I heard Vikings.

Oakland?

I'm very hopeful for Croyle but I'd like to have Carr. I think he's much better than his situation in Houston would indicate. My only concern would be the beating that he's already taken.

I could see the Vikes, Bucs or Jags giving him a look. He's still pretty young & all of those teams have need of a QB. Gradkowski isnt a sure thing & Simms is rumored to want a trade, the vikes have a young guy but they may want to push him & the Jags dont have anything clear cut either.
I think Carr got a bad deal, the Tejans are one of the worst teams ever with free agency & drafting, the guy had one of the worst O lines in recent memory protecting him & a D equally as bad. He's still young enough to get turned around IMO, i would hate to see him become the next Rick "Wallow In The" Mirer, another talented guy victimized by crap teams. |
I suppose it will happen in the early part of the first round of the draft, if at all.

ROFL No matter where he goes, he'll end up on his ass? Now that's funny. |
Oakland... I'd give him a look in KC though.

If the Texans trade Carr I don't believe they'd have anyone on the current roster ready to be a starter. Maybe Huard to Houston as the caretaker for a year?

It is my contention that Carr is equally responsible for his sack numbers with his O-Line, because he has always had the propensity to hold onto the ball too long. This was considered a weakness for him coming out of school, and he hasn't changed. He's too slow with his reads, or with his decisions, and because of that, he winds up on his ass consistently. |
