Damn, that's too bad. Much entertainment that man gave me, the world is a lesser place without him. RIP, Kurt Vonnegut.

Halfcan 04-11-2007 10:45 PM

sad news- he was a very good writer

Thig Lyfe 04-11-2007 10:47 PM

That sucks. I loved him in Back to School.

Death
Vonnegut died on April 11, 2007, after suffering brain injuries as a result of a fall several weeks before. Vonnegut is up in heaven now. [1]

LOL

I love it.

"Slaughterhouse Five" is one of the best books ever written.

After hearing that he would get an F on a Vonnegut paper
Rodney: And tell Vonnegut I'm stopping payment on the check.

God save the man that points out the flaws in a Democracy.

Politics be damned, he was an honest voice, and a loss for us all...

Jenson71 04-11-2007 11:07 PM

When the last living thing

has died on account of us,

how poetical it would be

if Earth could say,

in a voice floating up

perhaps

from the floor

of the Grand Canyon,

“It is done.”

People did not like it here.

RIP :(

Rest In Peace, Kurt.
What a literary badass. From notable novels like "Cat's Cradle," "Breakfast of Champions," and "The Slaughterhouse Five" to lesser known stuff, like the incredible short story "Harrison Bergeron," Vonnegut was awesome.
What a loss.

ChiefFan31 04-11-2007 11:55 PM

Hey Vonnegut, do you read lips?

**** YOU
