good I think we need to have trent this year. . it will make it a competive atmosphere for QB spot. . .and we'll get the best of whichever of our guy decides to step up

Trent has attended every offseason meeting and is ready to be the QB per CP.

If we start Trent this season, we stunt Croyle and hurt our chances in 2008 and 2009.

If Trent was worth a 4th in this year's draft, then he is worth a third in next year's.

How do you figure? He'll be another year older?

I don't mean if we trade him next year. I mean if we traded him today, but for a pick in next year's draft.

i think he means the value a trade pick declines by 1 round each year that team is delayed in receiving the pick.

ie

if we trade Green for a 4th this year has the same value is if we trade Green now for a 3rd pick we'll get next year.
