Pics of the new Knight Rider KITT car released

Most of the images are too big to hotlink, but here's a sample:

The side scoops are a little cheesy and the double rear wing is teh ghey, but other than that it's kinda cool. Also judging by the comments the hardcore Knight Rider fans are pissed it's a Ford product. Not that it matters, I bet the show doesn't make it a full season anyway.

Is the voice of kit the same?

Radar Chief 01-31-2008 08:01 AM

I kinda like it.

The voice of KITT will also be none other than Will Arnett, husband of Saturday Night Live's Amy Poehler and ex-alum of the TV show Arrested Development.
Whoever he is, I have no idea who did the original voice.

Absolute blasphemy. But it does allow them to add to Kit's vocabulary: "Warning, check engine light is on. Warning, check engine..."

Gob on Arrested Development is the new voice.

I don't like it... IMO KITT should be understated yet cool... not a flashy muscle car

stevieray 01-31-2008 08:12 AM

how original!

The original is William Daniels. Played John Adams in 1776.

And if the voice isn't William Daniels, I'm not interested. :harumph:

 This is exactly why these remakes never work, if they make everything the same, people will criticize them for being unoriginal, and if they change everything, people will be pissed about that too.

Isn’t the new Camaro supposed to be out this year?
Pony boys won’t be laughing long when they have to face a Camaro with an LS-6 engine. :fire:

I'm actually surprised it's not a Japanese hybrid with Rosie in the lead...

To an extent you're right.

I have no problem with the car, no problem with the cast, but I draw the line at KITT. William Daniels WAS that car, dammit.
