CP Mock GMs: How did you fare?
Mine's a mixed bag. Here's how I fared:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 1. CB Antoine Cason Picked by the Chargers in the 1st. 2. WR Early Doucet Picked by the Cardinals in the 3rd. 3. OT Tony Hills Picked by the Steelers in the 4th. 4. FB Owen Schmitt Picked by the Seahawks in the 5th. 5. WR Dorien Bryant UDFA 7. DT Letroy Guion Picked by the Vikings in the 5th. Philadelphia Eagles: 4. LB/SS Wesley Woodyard UDFA 5. RB Mike Hart Picked by the Colts in the 6th. 6. DE Johnny Dingle UDFA 6. DE Ken Iwebema Picked by the Cardinals in the 4th. |
Cincinnati Bengals
1. OLB Keith Rivers - Picked by Bengals in the 1st 2. TE Martellus Bennett - Picked by Dallas in the 2nd 3. OG Roy Scheuning - Picked by St. Louis in the 5th 4. OLB Marcus Howard - Picked by Indy in the 5th 5. DE Kendall Langford - Picked by Miami in the 3rd 6. FB Jacob Hester - Picked by San Diego in the 3rd I feel I did fairly well. Hester isn't worth a third rounder though IMO, a reach by the Chargers. |
I did rounds 4-7 for the Falcons:
Atlanta Falcons - 1. QB Matt Ryan 2. CB Patrick Lee 2. DT Frank Okam 3. OT Heath Benedict 4. MLB Beau Bell 5. WR Marcus Monk 6. CB Jack Williams 7. DE Chris Harrington 7. OT Breno Giocomeni What value with round 4-7 picks :D Beau Bell - mock: round 4 pick 4, actual: round 4 pick 5 Jack Williams - mock: round 6 pick 6, actual: round 4 pick 20 Chris Harrington - mock: round 7 pick 5, actual: round 6 pick 19 Breno Giocomeni - mock: round 7 pick 25, actual: round 5 pick 15 |
Titans, only made the first three picks:
1. Jonathan Stewart- Went to the Panthers at 13. In real life the Titans picked Chris Johnson so I win this one. 2. Mario Manningham- I still like Manningham as a player but I picked him before he lied to scouts. Probably would have gone elsewhere if the pick had been later. In real life the Titans picked Jason Jones so they got this one. 3. Chris Ellis- Went a few picks ahead of the Titans third rounder in real life. I think they picked up a TE in the third. I like mine better. |
Jacksonville Jaguars - A (pestilenceaf23)
1. DE Lawrence Jackson - Seahawks - 1st round 2. S DaJuan Morgan - Chiefs - 3rd round 3. DT Red Bryant - Seahawks - 3rd round 3. QB Josh Johnson - Bucs - 5th round 4. CB Antwan Molden - Texans - 3rd round 5. CB Orlando Scandrick - Cowboys - 5th round 7. RB Allen Patrick - Ravens - 7th round I think the Seahawks stole my mock draft. It looks like I took everyone around where they should be except for Josh Johnson. Green Bay Packers - B (crazycoffey/pestilenceaf23) 1. CB/S Reggie Smith - 49ers - 3rd round 2. OLB Ali Highsmith - Cardinals - UDFA 2. QB Chad Henne - Dolphins - 2nd round 3. OT Oneil Cousins - Ravens - 3rd round 4. TE Martin Rucker - Browns - 4th round 5. CB Jack Ikegwuonu - Eagles - 4th round 7. DT Carlton Powell - Broncos - 5th round The Packers draft was all over the board. Smith fell to the 3rd and Highsmith didn't even get drafted. :doh!: Thank God that was Coffey's pick. After that it pretty much settled down. |
I have a hard time believing Woodyard and Bryant went undrafted. Man were my pants pulled down on that one.
Virtually everybody thought they'd go somewhere. |
49ers first three rounds:
James Hardy (29) actually drafted at 41 by Buffalo Calais Campbell (39) actually drafted at 50 by Arizona Tavares Gooden (70) actually drafted at 71 by Baltimore Not horrible, in my humble opinion. |

Everything is a steal to you.
|
ok pestilencea
johnson the pick everyone said was stupid in the third round ended up being taken in the first by definition a steal. Jerod mayo drafted second real in the first sorry if I used the term steal too much but I got great value alone with those two picks. |
Or they could be determined as reaches by the Pats and Titans.

you know what believe what you want man
