Did you hear Laurinaitis' excuse?

He was sick the week before.

That's not gonna go over very well with GM's.

That's pretty sad, he basically said he thinks Michael Johnson is hiding because he realizes he would get exposed, and he feels bad for any team that takes him high.

He said the only guys he thinks had every right to not go were Curry and Jenkins, and guys like Monroe and Jason Smith can make a decent case but everyone else should have been there.

He probably really will piss some people off because when discussing QB's he absolutely does not like Colt McCoy as a prospect...and I know some here have liked him.

He should crap on Colt McCoy. He's an insurance agent.

I love Scott Wright's website. He has some great information on his board.

that was a great listen....of course, he had me at "you have to draft a QB when you have chance"..and he loves Stafford..

He contradicts the shit out of himself though.

He states the "Golden Rule" of not passing on a franchise QB unless you already have one in the write up on Detroit, yet he has the Chiefs pass on Sanchez - and makes the "Golden Rule" comment again when he has the Niners pick Sanchez.

I think that's one of those, if it was me I'd be taking a QB but I'm giving them who I think they're going to take kind of things.

The one thing that really bothers me about Wright is that he bans people if they link another site on there if it's not gbn or draftdaddy(??)

I think Wright does a real good job with his mocks and he's got a nice message board -- tons of good info and posters.

But didn't some liberal law professor from Colorado accuse him of writing racist scouting reports -- anti-white players? :Peace: :LOL:

Agree on Johnson, and I've said before I want nothing to do with him.

When you watch him play, he is extremely disappointing considering his measurables. He should have dominated at the college level with his size and speed.

So wouldn't you want to evaluate the level of coaching he's been given? If it wasn't very good coaching, you have to assume what he did, he did on natural talent, no? If his coaching sucked, would he have much more potential with good coaching and technique?
