GBN Mock from 2/17/09

http://www.gbnreport.com/2009projection.html

Crabtree and Matthews for those of you who don't want to click on the link.

And here is their new top 140 from yesterday as well...

Sounds good to me.

OnTheWarpath15 02-17-2009 02:47 PM

That might be the worst mock I've seen.

Crabtree and Matthews?

How about Sanchez and Heyward-Bey?

Sanchez and Kruger?

Sanchez and Simtim?

Hell, Curry and HB would be better value than what they are suggesting.

Terrible.

Tribal Warfare 02-17-2009 02:55 PM

They've gone full-reerun. I also don't believe KC would pass up on Michael Johnson in the 2nd round.

DeezNutz 02-17-2009 02:57 PM

****. That.

chiefs1111 02-17-2009 03:02 PM

they must be smoking something good

ChiefRon 02-17-2009 03:50 PM

Aren't they the ones who had us picking Albert last year?

Er, with the 5th pick, I mean...

ChiefsCountry 02-17-2009 04:56 PM

GBN always puts out dumb mocks. Nothing new.

What?! Crabtree would be a perfect fit for the new Haley regime. He and Bowe would create a new "Fitzgerald & Bouldin" only with more athletic ability and better hands. As of right now, a "Bowe & Crabtree" would be the best receiver duo in the NFL hands down.

And Matthews, while he might have been a walk-on at USC and only really began to get playing time his senior year, has, literally, generations of NFL genes in his system. His Dad and Uncle were studs, and there is no reason to believe that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in that family. And you don't play for USC if you suck. Dude has immeasurables that are literally off the chart.

That's a pretty solid first two picks if you ask me.

I kid. That's the worst mock I've ever seen anywhere. Hell, BF Skinner's chickens could peck out a better mock than that. Although, I would wet myself in joy and happiness for a Sanchez/Sintim or Sanchez/Kruger draft. Said it before, but I think Kruger is the best overall DE in the draft. Guy is an animal. Same with Sintim.

GBN is pretty shitty...

The question I ask is has Crabtree really separated himself from the pack, I don't feel that he has.

DaneMcCloud 02-17-2009 11:33 PM

I knew it would suck after OTW58's comment but JFC.

Hamas needs to go over there and tell them to kill themselves.

Awful.

PhillyChiefFan 02-18-2009 07:45 AM

Really? I mean...really?

Did someone get paid for this? God I hope not.

Crabtree?? Especially after I JUST read the tread about Crabtree not being a top 10 talent, this furthers my anger over him.

PhillyChiefFan 02-18-2009 07:48 AM

Graham threw the ball 40 friggin times a game.

Of course Crabtress is going to have good numbers, by that logic then Graham should be a top 5 pick too...right??

Damn it all. I hate 'draft gurus'.

You know I've honestly been trying to figure this out, searching for it if you will. What separates Michael Crabtree from the rest of the WR's, what makes him a top 5 pick the #1 WR and I've yet to find anything that separates him.

If anything I've found things that look like you could argue he shouldn't be the 1st WR taken.

rockymtnchief 02-18-2009 10:29 AM

Personally, if taking a LB in the 2nd round, I like Clint Sintim better than Mathews.
