Andonce again, for the 2nd game in a row...Hillman calls a hit and run with DDJ on 1st and Bloomy at the plate in the 1st inning...

Once again it flops.

How many times recently has Willie hung DDJ out to dry on the hit-n-run?

twice in the last 2 games. Then again though...WTF do you call a hit and run in the 1st when you are going against a pitcher like Verlander? It isn't like he is a strike out pitcher or anything

Well, as I was just telling my wife, you don't call a hit and run against a pitcher like Verlander until you know he doesn't have his stuff. Otherwise we get the result we got.
