1996-1997

Maybe a couple weeks after we beat the **** out of the 2000 Rams.

1997. A little in 2003.

2003 for sure. PTI used to talk about the Offense a lot. But it's been a long long time.

...the last time our defense was respected was 1997 probably. Also it was the last time it was deserving of respect...

In the bye week before that playoff game against the Colts in 95.

That was a glorious week. That snow sucked, and the kicker......well he wasn't very good.

When DT was enshrined in the HOF.

The Chiefs have a solid history in the league as partcipants in the founding of the AFC. They have a lot of credit built up through the years.
The KC franchise is still respected even if the current team is not playing well and a large portion of their fans are mullet wearing ne'er do wells.

Superbowl 4. Which is laughable because it was 40 years ago.

I hate to admit but we are one of the laughing stocks of the nfl bc we haven't won a championship in 40 yrs. And when we did win there were 8 teams or something like that. Jeebus

guys guys Chiefs were respected long after Super Bowl IV and after Marty was our HC. You know the answer and you know I'm right. All I'm talking about is respected not touted as the best team in the league.

I respected you guys with Vermeil.

Definately in the late 90's. You guys always went toe-to-toe with our back-to-back Super Bowl teams.
