And this is not a Cassell hater thread. It was funny hearing Dilfer commenting on how he went through the same thing as a QB. Because he sucked too. But he also won a super bowl. Manage the game and don't turn the ball over. Cassell played good enough to win tonight. Do that all season.

Cassel was ineffective namely because of play calling. At the end of the game on 3rd and 4 we call a run that goes no where? WHY? Were we scared to have Cassel throw the ball 4 yards? He does that well. That being said I thought he held the ball a few times but he also got popped pretty good a few times as he was throwing.

Well, we won tonight and we play Denver twice. That's 3 right there.

Once again, WR routes/breaks take a little longer in the slop.

Rivers and his WR's had little problem. Granted Cassel doesn't get the protection Rivers was getting. Plus Rivers knows how to keep a play alive. Cassel doesn't do well at that.

And yet the #1 in jersey sales couldn't hold his jock
