Takeo Spikes may miss week 3
Not a real big deal but I'll take what I can get
49ers | Takeo Spikes may miss Week 3 Wed, 22 Sep 2010 17:53:58 -0700 San Francisco 49ers ILB Takeo Spikes (knee) may not be able to play during Week 3, reports Eric Branch, of The Santa Rosa Press Democrat. Rookie Navorro Bowman could make his first start if Spikes cannot play, or the team could look to move OLB Ahmad Brooks to the inside |
Could this be the last of Jamaal Charles in KC? Jamaal Charles to the niners?
I think they're trying to throw Cassel off.
Nick Wright reporting several "players" informed him Charles told the team after practice he wants out. Wright confirmed Loochy's post, Charles to SF /sarcasm
Can we bring in him for a look at his gas tank?
They still have Patrick Willis...
Quick! Somebody write an article about how this will help guarantee victory for San Francisco!
i'm fine with this.

I think part of the reason the saints had such a hardtime w/ SF was because of spikes. Spikes called all the audibles / plays in buffalo and im sure has a good feel for what GW does and doesnt do in certain situations. Spikes is a football player he may be older but his football IQ is right up w/ the best in the game.
Him being out will free up lots of space for the RB,slot,te positions, and maybe cause alittle chaos on field with audibles. |
we have a capable rookie in Navarro Bowman

you have to be kidding me with this blind homerism, who are you kidding? yourself? That defense revolves around Patrick Willis, I don't care how much Spikes knows or did or is some veteran genius. He knows his role next to a once in a lifetime freak athlete at the position that I am sure he's honored to team with, but let's be real, any in game situations are going through Patrick Willis on that defense. |
