Anyone else taking classes this summer?

Just finished 2 of my 3 classes this summer. I likely have an A in Political Science, B in College Algebra, and B in Intro to Movies.

How did your summer semester go?

BTW, it is all about Fort Hays State University online. Cheap and convenient... plus I don't have to deal with people other than the prof. Copious amounts of kick ass.

Summer sessions were the best, for sure.

Wakes always have the best food. Besure to stop by the Joey thread & try the jowl & zucchini bake

The last time I took summer classes was 1990 because I'm old. Therefore I thought my presence in this thread was important.

Trying to finish my last 5 hours with online classes for my undergrad at K-State.

Human Health-2 hours
Human Sexuality-3 hours

Probably going to end up with Ds (I know...), assuming I pass the 3-hour class (one of the tests didn't get completed in time or something and I have a 0 on it and can't get a hold of the prof.), not that I care. I'm working on moving to Liberty for my job and have some business to finish up at various places, so classes haven't exactly been at the top of my priorities.

I figure if I fail one, I'll just take an online BS class online at Butler CC or something... So to answer your question, it's been a shit summer semester academically.:D

Intro to Movies?

What does that entail?

Pretty cool class actually. Fulfilled a humanities requirement.

The class teaches about different film genres, who all is involved in the movie making process, the history of film, types of actual film used, setting up shots, the use of music in movies and how it can move the plot.

We watched a film per week, then had to write a paper on the technical aspects of the film we watched.

Sounds interesting.

Working on two classes as of now - Independent Study in Economics and a Promotional Management/Marketing class. Both are ok.

Those 3 week Maymester courses are a bitch. Especially if it involves statistics.

For those of you that are teachers and need credits, look no further than Fresno Pacific University. Search for classes by Steve Young. You'll never take easier classes ever. Really affordable too.
