Kind of excited for the Packers game.
If nothing else to see exactly what our secondary is worth. The Pack doesn't run the ball so I expect Crennel to drop 8 all game and allow Starks or Grant to put up around 100 yards rushing.
Will be interesting to see what Rodgers does to us, though. Our corners match up extremely well with their receivers, with the exception of Jermichael Finley due to us not having a safety athletic enough to keep up with him with Berry injured. I imagine Crennel could employ the same system he used against Manning last year in Indianapolis. Stick a corner on the receiver that best matches his abilities Brandon Flowers: Greg Jennings Brandon Carr: Jordy Nelson Javier Arenas: James Jones Travis Daniels: Donald Driver Jon McGraw: Jermichael Finley (McGraw did shut down Dallas Clark last year...) Could be fun, I think Donald Washington's blazing speed could be a great fit for containing Randall Cobb. |
Not sure if serious.

The Packers will fall.
Then, the Packers will get up. Then the Packers will kick our ass into next week. FAX |

I'm actually not nearly concerned with their offense as I am with their defense. Our Offensive futility is going to cost us this game. If our D that showed up the last few weeks continues we should be able to keep the game close. But Raji, and Matthews and Hawk will probably be hasseling Failco/Orton most of the night.

I'll get back to you after the Jets game.

The Chiefs have a chance if they injure Rodgers AND Flynn within the first quarter before either of them can do much damage to us.
That last preseason game we played was basically the Graham Harrell show, and we very nearly beat them. If we turn it into the Graham Harrell show on Sunday, we have a chance. Other than that... umm... yeah. We're going to lose. Big time. |

Our D will play well for a quarter then collapse due to the Packers having the ball after every third snap by Casey Wiegmann.

They could put 60 on us. Really.

Also, we need to find a way to injure Jermichael Finley. That's shouldn't be too hard, though. He's more brittle than Tony Moeaki with osteoporosis.
