I'm in Minneapolis. Going to visit the University here tomorrow to see whether or not this is the place I'm going to get a second bachelor degree in.

Well, I appreciate the gesture in trying to prevent the forum from knowing about my idiocy, but I had DaFace change it to this handle for me because I derive incredibly too much enjoyment from tagging my less serious posts with "discus." Yes, I'm the only one that thinks it's funny but still better than my original username.

What degree are you going for?

Graduate in May with English and Writing, looking into journalism (already have talked to Mo State where a department head said I can transfer my degrees in and only take 40 hours of credit and get a whole new degree). I'm doing this on the advice of said department head from MSU, and from a newspaper editor that it's better to just get a second bachelor vs a master's degree, so I've done some searching into this idea.

Basically my cursory research on j-schools made me think to apply to Minnesota, Mizzou, and MoState. Mizzou told me to get stuffed, so I figured I'd at least visit here in Minneapolis since I got accepted and see if it's worth a shot.
