I know I don't have any real problems, but **** me it feels like it's pouring lately. Of course they are all self inflicted.

Just got home and got a notice that my drivers license will soon be canceled because of an unpaid ticket. Could have sworn I had sent that off, but guess not. It was ~$100 fine for driving on expired tags... another thing that I screwed up. It was $350 for the tags thanks in large part to a late fee and fine. I'm sure that $100 ticket will cost a lot more now too.

I broke a couple of ribs in a mountain biking accident a month ago. In the middle of the night I dragged myself to urgent care because it hurt so ****ing bad I couldn't sleep. Problem was I actually went to the ER instead of the urgent care next door so they charged me $300. Well that was it until just last week went they sent me a bill for the other $800 they are expecting for taking an x-ray and prescribing vicodin. Who the **** builds an ER next door to the urgent care?!?! I thought they had just expanded and had a nice new entrance!

I got a notice about a negative charge to my credit last week too. Turns out there was a medical bill in March for a $70 lab that went to collections.

I have no idea what my credit score is right now, but it was > 800 before this. I'm just ****ing burning my money right now and screwing up everything I touch. Pretty well been this way since my pop died too. Just one **** up after another. I know what will fix it though... another ****ing beer! :toast:

Damn dude, I hope things turn around for you, quickly. Until then, it might not be a bad idea to run out and buy a cup.

Good luck man. It sucks when stuff sneaks up on you like that. Not the same storm but had a similar experience in mark in regards to unpaid ticket\ licence peril .

Of course I do. If I hadn't have had health insurance I'd have been charged > $2,500 for that little visit to the ER. I just have your run of the mill shitty health insurance that covered 50% after reducing the amount a tiny bit.
