U-Verse vs. DSL.
I'm moving about 100 yards to a new apartment and AT&T tells me DSL service isn't available there. That's good news and bad news. I can rid myself of my home phone, but I had to buy a new modem.
Looks like my service will be four times faster AND cheaper. I'm happy about that part, but I'm curious about the quality of the service. If you have it, how does the U-Verse HSI stack up to DSL? Better? |
I like it. It's fast ( i have the 12 mbps). I think there is an option for up to 24 mbps. In the end, it's internet. It requires no service...you just buy it and it's there and you use it.

You don't need a home phone with ATT DSL.

Should be faster.

UVERSE works great. You will notice a difference. When I logged into computers running uverse the first few times I would send files and think something went wrong because it got there so fast. |

if delivered over copper, uverse technically is dsl, just a newer version.

Yeah, tech is all over the nation. Most people except fans don't recognize it though. That bat/serpent logo is everywhere.
