People wonder why I was so against hiring Jeff Fisher. It's because you can pretty much lump him together with Marty/Cowher/Herm/Dungy and all those other assholes who think defense and running the ball is all you need.

Cowher has seen the light as far as needing a franchise QB goes.

Just the other day he said Matt Cassel is a good QB.

Which should be pointed out was never more apparent in his first full year as coach, when he drafted a future MVP QB with the 3rd overall pick. Then when he left town, wanted to draft another QB and had Vince Young stuffed down his throat against his wishes over guys like Jay Cutler.

This is not entirely true. Look at some of his Titans teams. They had several seasons where they were in the top half of the league in passing. Even top 10.

Fisher would have been a great hire, but Pioli is unable to share power.

Should have fired Fat Scott last year and given Fisher all the power.
